Chapter 23~ Team up?!

Jax POV:

I walk out of room but I remember my dad's still here.

I try to walk out avoiding him.

But I didn't.

"Jax, can we talk!" He says.

He doesn't need to ask, if I don't do it he will tear me to shreds!

"What!" I yell.

"I was wondering what your doing to continue out plan?" He asks.

"You mean your plan!" I comment.

"But I thought we were partners! Because you broke up with Emma! That was brilliant by the way! How'd you know she'd be here early?" He wondered.

"I didn't! And I'm still mad at you about that!" I storm.

"Jax, we can be partners! Buds! Bro's!" He's trying to butter me up.

"Look, we both know that you need me to do your plan! Well, guess what! It ain't happening!" I'm being a bit of a smartalic.

I storm off.

I come back and he's still here!

"Uh! What do you want!" I moan.

"Look, Jax, your right! I shouldn't do anything bad! So instead, I'm going to help you with your Emma problem!" He tried to please me.

"Not interested!" I reply.

"Come on! Look, just here me out! Invite her over to dinner! A nice dinner, get to know each other! Trust me, it will be just fine" He says.

"Fine I'll do it!" I admit.

"Great. You can even introduce me to her!" He says.

I turn back around.

"I'm only doing it if your NOT their!" I storm.

"Look, you've tasted my cooking! If I can have dinner with you two, then I'll cook for you!" He says.

"Fine! But NO poison!" I ask.

"I promise!" He says.

I walk off.

Its after school and I before I saw Emma walk into her Dad's office.

Emma POV:

I'm in my dad's office because he wants to ask me if I can go to someone's house while he has a staff meeting at my house because the staff room got flooded!

"Dad, Andi's fixing her engine with her boyfriend, I can't go over their!" I complain.

"Well, where can you go!" He says.

Just then, Jax comes in.

"Sorry to disturb you guys but I was wondering if I could ask Emma something." He says.

"Sure!" I say facing him.

"Emma, do you want to come over sometime for dinner?" He asks.

"Perfect! How's Friday night?" Dad asks.

"Great!" He comments.

"Then it's settled!" He says.

Jax walks out.

Now I'm having Dinner with my ex-boyfriend who I secretly have feelings for and his dad who might be wanting to kill me!
