Star in a play Star in a Movie Part 2 - S.S

I looked at Sebastian and sighed. I took a deep breath before got into the mood.

"I want the rebels to know I'm alive that I'm in district 8. Where the capitol just bombed a hospital filled with unarmed men, women and children and there will be not survivors! If you think for one second that the capitol will ever treat us fairly, you are lying to yourselves! Because we know who they are and what they do! This is what they do and we must and we must fight back!" I acted out the scene and pointed behind me used the stage.

"I have a message for President Snow, you can torture us and bomb us and burn our districts to the ground but do you see that?" I said as I looked over Sebastian with a hard face. "Fire is catching and if we burn, you burn with us!" I said. The claps thundered. I took a deep breath as I looked at the crowd behind in the auditorium and shook my head before walking down the stage and out the door.

I took a breath as I stared at myself in the bathroom.

"Allora?" I heard Sam ask. "God! I can't believe he made me do that." I said frowning. "I mean people are complimenting you and the fact that you did all that on the spot." Maisy said. I frowned at her. "Okay. I know this is not what you wanted. But, it worked out really well." Sam said. "That's the thing Sam. I did want it. I have wanted to act ever since I was little. Ever since I have fallen in love with watching movies. My parents don't want me to do this. They don't want me in the film industry but, I want this. I want that life. Everyone knows that some people from this play are most likely going to get a role in some movie. People are being selected. I--I didn't want to experience the auditioning and working in the play only to know that I am never going to get selected and even if I do. I am not going to be able to take that job." I said sadly. I was enveloped in a hug. "We're going to get through this." Maisy said. I hugged Sam and Maisy back. I smiled at them. "We'll go for karaoke tonight." Maisy suggested. "That you love." Sam said grinning. "I do." I said with a smile. "Okay. You guys go back to the auditorium. I'll go get myself a drink and then go to the library." I said. "Okay. See you soon." Sam said kissing my cheek and walked off with Maisy. I looked at the mirror sadly. I took a deep breath.

I sat in the cafe itself at the back since the library was closed. I hid myself behind my laptop.

"Found you." I heard someone say. I look up to see Sawyer. I smile in relief that it wasn't anyone else. "You did." I said with a smile. "So, you working on your portfolio?" he asked. "Yeah. Why don't you join me?" I asked as I gestured to the extra chair. "Thanks." he said and sat down, "So, before we were interrupted and you gave that marvellous audition Miss Everdeen; I had something to ask you." He said. I took a sip of my drink and nodded my head. "Yeah. What did you want to ask?" I said. "I was thinking that, maybe if you would like, we could go out? On a date." He said. I smiled at him. "I--uhm... I think that it is a..." I heard a commotion. I looked up and saw Sebastian walking into the cafe. Damn it! "Could you move your seat to this side?" I asked. Sawyer frowned at my request but shifted so that now I was hidden. "Sorry. I just don't want him to see me and ask some more questions at least today." I said with a small sheepish smile. "No, It's okay. Don't worry." He said with a smile. "But, to answer your question, uhm; yes." "Wait a minute! Reallly?" he asked really loudly and excitedly. I smiled at him and looked around and saw that everyone was looking in our direction. "Shit!" I muttered.

I closed my laptop and book in my shoved them in my bag. As I got up and hugged Sawyer. "I'll text you later. Thanks Sawyer for the question." I said with a rushed smile as I looked at the crowd in the cafe already murmuring. I saw Sebastian look right at us with a hard look on his face. I turned around and walked past everyone as people tried to come up to talk to me. 

I sat at the table at the bar. I was the first one here. I saw Sam and Maisy walk in. "How are you?" Sam asked with a grin. "Good. Love karaoke." I said. "She meant about the future date with Sawyer." "Future date with Sawyer?" I asked. "Don't play dumb with us. Sawyer asked you out. So many people on campus know and you should have seen the fury on Iris and Harriet's face when that was announced. Riley was actually furious." Riley had a campus wide threat to all the girls who thought of asking Sawyer out. "Great! More enemies and poeple to talk to." I said as I let my head fall on the table. "Don't worry. It's not that bad. She will have a showdown and Adeline will be the one fighting in the ring for her." Maisy joked. "Why does this have to happen to me?" I asked pouting.
