Home for the Holidays Part 8- THV

When I woke up the next morning my head was laid on top of Tae's chest. I was wearing his hoodie. I could feel the soreness in my legs from last night. Our bodies entangled. He looked mesmerising as the sun hit his face. I turned around and he pulled me close with my back to his front. He kissed my neck. "Good morning love." He whispered. His morning sounding deep and heavenly. "Good morning." I softly answered him. I turned around to see him look at me. I took a deep breath. "Tae. Last nig--" He kissed me. "Last night I got the best birthday gift. I mean I took it but, it was mine from the beginning." I sighed. "It may have been enjoyable but, you know it can't last. I will go today." "You can try to step out of the bed. I'll pull you back again and make sure you can't walk. And I can go a whole lot faster." He said as he bit my neck slightly and then kissed it.

"Tae. We have to talk seriously." "I know. That's why I was serious last night." I sighed as I rubbed my face and felt something on my finger. I looked at my left hand and saw a ring. A huge engagement ring. I looked him shocked. "What is this?" I asked. "My promise to stay by your side for the rest of our lives." He said. Tears pricked my eyes again. "You can't marry me not with your family---" 

"Mi-Sun kissed me that day in the photobooth and then she pulled my jacket close making me lean in to get a picture with me kissing her. She acted and said that it was by mistake. I let it go then. But, I had it when she kissed me yesterday. She threw herself on top of me when I was sleeping. I groaned into it happily assuming that you decided to stop fighting and wanted to be with me. When I opened my eyes and saw her I pushed her off the bed. I told her that I wasn't ever going to be with her so she needs to understand that I loved one woman and her name was Allora. I ignored and made you upset by staying quiet about every thing because I was upset. I was scared the past few days. Scared before we even came here.

 I was afraid that you won't say yes if I asked you commit to me fully and make me the happiest man in the world to support you, love you and be able to spend my life as your husband. I was terrified when you began distancing yourself. I was angry at how I didn't know why you were doing it at first and then I was too upset to think straight. Then I saw you yesterday morning looking miserable. You looked like you would have broken down in Alison's arms. I was the cause of that pain and what shattered my heart was that you hadn't fought with me the past days. You weren't angry at me for my ignorance and the fact that you were packing yesterday. It made me realise that every thing was so bad. I was going to lose my world and my home and I hadn't even worked to make it work.

So, please forgive me love. Please let me love you. Please let me be the reason you get angry and let me be able to make it up when I don't get you flowers when I work too hard and don't care of myself. But, please I beg of you please let me take care of you, love you and start and end my day in your arms. Please let me grow old holding your hand. Please let me-- please let me be yours. My heart hurts thinking that may not be mine to love. Please love me. Please be my home, love." He said tears fell from his face. 

"Yes." I answer as I wipe his tears. "What?" He asked. "Isn't your speech about telling me you need me just me as I need you. You are putting your heart out there knowing I have a cold one when I am scared. You aren't afraid to be vocal and address how you feel about having me go away from me. I'm sorry for not fighting and yelling at you. I am sorry for giving up so soon. I am sorry for being a coward. But, the answer is yes. I will marry you. I just ask you to love me and bear with me as I learn to fight to for my love. I will get jealous I promise you, I will be possessive and make sure that you can't leave my side. I will work on it. But, could you patient with me?" I asked. 

"I can be every thing you wish me to. Take your time love. Until you are crazily filled with jealousy and possessiveness I will fight for us." He said he hugged me. "Okay, then fiance. The first I need you to tell me is why did you spend time shopping for that locket for Mi-Sun?" "I actually found it in the first shop next to the convenience store in the market. It was something that was last in stock. I just said that I was going around looking for the locket because I was meeting with the representative from the company I bought this from. He said that the engraving job, I had requested for that and they had forgotten when they delivered the ring. So, I went around and found a shop that did it. I wanted your ring to be perfect fiance." He said kissing my nose. I smiled at him.
