Chapter Sixty Four

Iris’s P.O.V
After I had left with Ron, the both of us managed to get some distance from Harry and Hermione after we had Apparated and there was a moment of silence before he spoke up, “you should have stayed.” he said to me, “and let you go on alone? Not bloody likely.” I said to him, “I’m sorry about what I said about your parents.” he said to me, “it’s alright. You weren’t thinking straight.” I said to him, “So where are we going to go now?” he asked and I thought about it, “why don’t we just camp out for the night before we go anywhere else.” I told him, “do you have an extra tent or something?” he asked me and I nodded, “yeah, I managed to get a couple before we managed to make it to your place after what happened.” I said to him, “brilliant.” he said to me, “will you be able to put it together or do you want to do the Enchantments?” I asked him, “I’ll do the Enchantment’s if you don’t mind.” he said to me before I took out the tent and once I want done and got everything set up inside, Ron walked inside and the both of us just spent most of the night talking before the both of us had gone to bed for the night. As time went on, the both of us ended up walking along a beach before a house appeared, “where are we?” I asked him, “Shell Cottage. My family used to come here when we were kids.” he said before we walked up to the door and he knocked on the door before he eventually opened before seeing Bill standing there, “what are you two doing here?” he asked us as he pulled the both of us into the house, “Ron and Harry got into an argument so he left and I came with him because I didn’t want to let him go off on his own.” I said to Bill before seeing Fleur walk up to us as we eventually sat in the kitchen, “is everything alright?” she asked us, “Ron had been in an argument with Harry.” Bill told her, “What for?” She asked us, “It's a long story.” Ron told her and she nodded before they had set up a couple of rooms for us before we just talked to see how things were doing recently before everyone had gone to bed later that night. It has been a couple of days and both Ron and I had decided to start traveling again in case anything happened and once we had packed everything up, both Ron and I had said goodbye to Bill and Fleur before the both of us left and spent some time on the road and eventually spent the night somewhere as we hid in a pub from Snatchers until one night, a voice came from Ron’s Deluminator as I began to hear Draco’s voice coming from the light, “do you hear Draco to?” I asked him, “no, I hear Hermione.” he told me before a ball of light came from it before it split into two and went into our chests, “bloody hell just happened?” he asked, “I have no bloody clue what happened.” I told him before we left the pub after grabbing our things and making our way back to Harry and Hermione

We eventually stopped walking before Ron and I saw a hole in the ice that covered the water before we rushed over as we began to hear something kicking the Ice from underneath before Ron jumped in before he came back up with Harry before I gave Harry his glasses, “Hrmione?” he questioned and as he put them on, I waved a little, “no but I thought we could be familiar faces.” I told him, “are you mental?” Ron questioned, “it was you?” Harry asked, “Well yeah, a bit obvious don’t you think.” Ron told him, “And did either of you cast the Doe?” Harry asked us, “no” I told him, “no, I thought it was you.” Ron told him, “no, my Patronus is a Stag.” Harry said, “and mine is a Dragon.” I told him, “right, antlers.” Ron said as he made the antlers with his hands before Harry put the Locket down, “ok Ron.  do it.” Harry said to him as Ron held the sword, “I can’t handle it. That thing affects me more than it affects you, Iris and Hermione.” Ron said to him, “the reason being why you should do it. You need to face whatever that thing is telling you and fight it like any enemy.” I said to him, “no, I can’t.” Ron said, “Then why are you here? Why did the both of you come back?” Harry asked, “don’t start.” I said to him, “sorry. Now either Iris or myself will have to speak to it in order for it to open, when it does, don’t hesitate. I don’t know what’s in there but it will put up a fight. A bit of Riddle was in the Diary, tried to kill Iris and I.” Harry told him, “let’s get this over with. I just want the ringing to stop.” I said to them, “one… two… three” Harry said and Ron got ready before Harry and I started speaking Parseltongue before it opened causing something to push us to the ground as the ringing got louder, “Ron hurry.” I said to him before Harry eventually spoke up to him, “Ron, kill it.” he managed to say before Ron finally managed to kill whatever was inside the Locket causing whatever came out of the Locket to disappear before we sat down for a moment, “I knew you could do it.” I said to him, “thanks I guess. But just think, only four to go.” he said to us, “we should get back to the tent” Harry said to us before we all stood up and went back to the tent before Harry started calling out for Hermione, “Hermione. Hermione.” Harry said before she eventually walked out of the tent, “is everything alright?” she asked him, “it’s fine.” Harry told her, “brilliant actually.” I spoke up before she noticed Ron and I as I waved at her, “hey.” Ron said to her, “she looks pissed. That’s usually not a good thing, especially if it’s towards boys.” I said to him before she walked up to Ron, “you complete arse Ronald Weasley.” she said to him as she threw leaves at him, “you show up here after weeks and you say hey.” she said as she continued to hit him before she turned to Harry, “where’s my wand Harry? Where’s my wand?” she asked him, causing him to walk back into the tree, “I don’t know.” he told her, “Harry Potter you give me my wand.” she said to him, “blood hell, calm down Hermione.” I said to her, “how come he’s got your wand?” Ron asked her, “yeah, what happened to his?” I asked wondering, “nevermind why he's got my wand and what happened with his.” she said to us before she noticed what Ron was holding, “what is that?” she asked him, “you destroyed it?” she asked us, “yup.” I said to her, “and how is it that you just happen to have the Sword of Gryffindor?” she asked us, “it was sitting at the bottom of a lake not far from here.” I told her, “It's true but it’s a long story.” Harry told her, “don't think this changes anything.” she said before walking away, “oh of course not. I only just destroyed a bloody Horcrux, why would that Change anything? Look, I wanted to come back as soon as we left but I just didn’t know how to find you.” Ron told them, “yeah, how did the both of you find us?” Harry asked us, “with this, it doesn’t just turn off lights. I don’t know how it works but on Christmas Morning we were sleeping in this little pub, keeping away from some Snatchers  and we heard it.” Ron told them, “it?” Harry asked, “voices. Your voice Hermione, Iris heard Malfoy. Coming out of it.” Ron told them, “And what exactly did Maloy and I say, may I ask?” she asked him, “our names. Just our names, like whispers so I took it, clicked it and this tiny ball of light appeared and we knew, sure enough, it floated towards us, the ball of light, it split into two and went right into our chests. Went straight through us. Right here. And we knew it was going to take us to where we needed to go so we Disapparated and came to this hillside. It was dark, we had no Idea where we were. We just hoped one of you would show yourselves and you did.” Ron told them, “to be honest, I was kind of freaked out with the whole chest thing.” I said to them as we went to the tent.

After Harry, Ron and Myself walked into the tent and sat down with each other, we talked about everything, “I’ve always liked these flames Hermione makes.” Ron mentioned to us, “yeah, they are pretty.” I said to him, “how long do you think she’ll stay mad at me?” Ron asked us, “that depends.” I told him, “well, just keep talking about that little ball of light touching your heart then she’ll come around.” Harry said to him, “It's true, every word. This is going to sound crazy but I think that’s why Dumbledore left it to me, the Deluminator. I think he knew that somehow I would need it to find my way back.” Ron said to us before I saw Fawkes fly in with Raven and I smiled a little, “oh how I missed you two.” I said to them and Raven ended up on my shoulder as Fawkes stood on the stairs next to us, “bloody hell, I just realized, you need a wand don’t you?” Ron asked Harry, “yeah.” Harry said to him, “Ron’s got one in the bag.” I mentioned as he grabbed one for Harry, “it’s a Blackthorn. Ten Inches, nothing special but I reckon it will do. We took it off a Snatcher a couple of weeks ago, after Iris managed to kill him of course. Don’t tell Hermione this but they’re a bit dim, Snatchers. This one was definitely part troll by the smell of him” Ron said to Harry, “they’re bloody idiots if you think about it.” I told them before Harry decided to test the wand out, “Engorgio.” he said before the flame had gotten bigger, “Reducio.” Harry said before the flame went back to how it was before, “what’s going on in there?” Hermione asked, “nothing.” we said to her, “next time you want to do that, make sure we’re outside.” I said to him before Hermione came back in the tent, “we need to talk.” she said to us, “all of us this time?” I asked her and she nodded, “I want to go and see Xenephilius Lovegood.” Hermione said to us, “Luna’s father? Why?” I asked her before she opened the book, “see this, it’s a letter Dumbledore wrote to Grindelwald. Look at the signature. It’s the Mark again. It keeps popping up, in Beedle the Bard, in the Graveyard in Godric's Hollow.” Hermione said, “it was there too.” Harry said, “where?” I asked him, “outside Grigoravich’sWand Shop” Harry said, “you saw it too, the vision thing?” I asked him and he nodded, “what does it mean?” Ron asked us, “Look, you've got no Idea where the next Horcrux is and neither do I. but this, this means something, I’m sure of it.” Hermione told us, “yeah, Hermione's right. We ought to see Lovegood. Let's vote on it. Those in favor” Ron said as he raised his hand and we just looked at him, “well then, Luna’s place it is.” I said before I spoke up to Harry, “I think I might have noticed a glimpse of Luna’s father wearing the necklace you were talking about, of the Symbol but it was too small to make out what it was at the time so I didn’t think much of it until now.” I said to him, “that’s fine.” he said before hearing Hermione speak up, “we should get ready then.” Hermione said to us before we all packed our things and made sure that we had everything before we made our way to Luna’s place.
