The thing that I've been holding for a while accidentally flips off of my hand. The thing, pregnancy test... With a double line...

It was just an accident. We were drunk and my girlfriend brought me to her apartment. I don't know what happened but the next morning we woke up naked beside each other

My girlfriend said not to worry and she was sure that nothing would happen. She said maybe she pulled it out on time so I won't get pregnant. And she maybe can't get me pregnant because she was a woman even though she was born differently

I don't know what to do, I don't know what to think...

What will she react to when she knows about this? She wants to break up with me? She told me to miscarriage this baby? I can never do that!

I sat on my bed hugging my knees close to my chest. I can't help myself from crying. I was so scared

I picked up my phone and dialed her number. She picked it up on the first ring

“good morning baby!” She said on the other line, she sounds cheerful like usual

“Minji, we need to talk. You are day off today right?”

“yea, what's wrong baby?”

“I'll see you at your apartment”

“okay, be careful. I love you!”

I end the call without repeating the words back to her which I never did before. She must have felt hurt but she maybe can hurt me more when she heard what I would say when we meet

I arrived at Minji's apartment. I let myself since I know the passcode of her door, I used to do this and she doesn't care at all

“hi babe!” Minji greeted me as soon as I came on

She was about to pull me in a hug but I pushed her away. She seems confused but still smiles

“I have something to tell you” I said

“oh okay, would you like to have some water first?” She offered but I shook my head

“okay then, let's sit down?” She asked and I nodded

She led me to the sofa in the living room. We sit next to each other and I let out a heavy sigh

“What do you want to talk about?” Minji asked look at me

“M-Minji... I-I...” I hesitate to say, I can't

Minji noticed the scared look on my face, she quickly took my hands in hers and squeezed them gently

“baby, are you okay?” she asked

I can't say anything but shake my head

“what's wrong? You know you can tell me anything right?” she said softly, will she still be soft and gentle like this after what I'm going to tell her?

Maybe she will just kick me out of her house and tell me to forget it

My eyes started to teary at the thought...

“M-Minji...”

“y/n... What happened? It's okay babe, don't cry...” she cupped my face and wiped my tears

“will you still say it's okay after I tell you this? You will still love me?” I ask between my tears

“you know I love you so much. Whatever it is I'll still love you dearly, nothing will change” she whispers before kissing my forehead

“Minji... I'm pregnant...” I said in a low voice and started to cry

“w-what?” she ask confused

“I'm pregnant... Your child...”

“y-you meant l-last time...” she asked hesitatedly and I nodded

Suddenly she got up from the sofa and made me flinched, she didn't say words and walked away...

She left me...

I hung my head low and cried. Minji will just leave me like this after pregnant her child

Suddenly I heard footsteps, I lifted my head and saw Minji in front of me...

Kneel down in one knee...

With a pair of diamond rings inside the box in her hands...

I look at her shocked with the tears in my eyes

She takes a deep breath and looks at me confidently before start to speak

“y-y/n...” she seems nervous that made her stop for a while

“I-I... Will you marry me?” she blurred out

My eyes are wide open. She took a deep breath again

“I will take responsibility for this child. I will take care of you and them. You don't have to worry, I won't leave you, I promise. Please, just give me a chance... I'll be a good wife or husband for you... Let's build a family together”

I look at her still crying, but this time with happy tears

“marry me... Please... Let's keep the baby and be good parents for them”

She looked at me with those eyes. The eyes are full of love and it never changes since years ago when we started dating

“y-y/n... I-I...” she was about to say something but I cut her

“yes...”

“y-yes? Y-you will marry me?” she asked with her eyes wide opened and I nodded

She let out a relief sigh and slowly smiled. She pulled out the smaller ring from the box and asked for my hand. I gave her my hands and she flipped the ring on my ring finger

“I'm sorry, I just bought these rings a few days ago and planned to propose to you. I should make this more romantic but I was so nervous and happy at the same time” she said with chuckles

I immediately hugged her and she hugged me back. She rubbed my back in circles, made me relax in her embrace

“thank you Minji for not leaving me” I whisper

“you are the love of my life and also the mother of my child, I would never leave you. I got you, you got me, always together” she whispers back

We pulled away from the hug. I pulled out the other ring from the box and flipped it on her ring finger

“I'm gonna be a mom... Or dad?” She asked while looking at me made me laugh

She laughed along and cupped my face in her palms once again. She wiped my tears and kissed my forehead

“I'm sorry, I have thought bad about you. I thought you would leave me or ask me to miscarriage the baby” I tell her honestly with a guilty face

“it's okay my love, I know you are scared” she said and kissed my red nose

“I love you baby, always and forever” she whispers before leaning in

“I love you too, so much”

She put her lips on mine and kissed me dearly
