Chap 3: Delivery Boy Syrup's Friend!

(Natts House, 2nd floor)

"A letter?" Nozomi asked.

One morning at Natts House, Nozomi and the others were on the second floor of Natts House, where they saw Kouji sitting at a table in front of them and writing a letter while Natsu was sitting on the side reading a book.

"Yeah. It's a letter to Milk." Natsu answered them.

"We figured she could tell us what's happening in the Palmier Kingdom via letter." Kouji said as he continued to write the letter.

Nozomi and the others felt worried when they heard about what Kouji just said.

"True, we don't know what state the Kingdom's in." Karen said in worry.

"You must be worried." Komachi continued.

"Yeah." Kouji nodded in concern.

"Coco..." Nozomi whispered, looking at Kouji with a worried expression.

"Oh, that's right." Rin exclaimed before looking over at Asumi, who was sitting in the chair to Kouji's right and was also reading a book. "Can you find out about the Palmier Kingdom's situation through the Forbidden Book, Asumi?"

"I'm afraid not." Asumi replied, folding the book she was reading again. "The Forbidden Book just records what you've been through during the day and it barely mentions anything about Palmier Kingdom so far."

Through the Forbidden Book, Asumi was able to learn about everything that had happened to the Nozomi group before. Of course, she also knows about Milk and Palmier Kingdom, but in the Forbidden Book there is also nothing about Milk and the kingdom at the present time.

"That's unfortunate." Urara said regretfully.

Just then, Syrup entered with a very large canvas bag being carried behind. 

"Hello." Syrup greets them.

"Syrup?" Natsu was surprised to see Syrup.

"Perfect timing." Kouji said. "This letter is for Milk in the Palmier Kingdom."

When Kouji was about to ask Syrup to bring the letter to Palmier Kingdom, Syurp, in an uneasy mood, slammed his bag on the table. The bag was opened to reveal numerous pale purple letters with the seal of the Palmier Kingdom on it.

"They're from Milk of the Palmier Kingdom!" Syrup explain.

"Ehhhh?!" Everyone cried out in shocked.

"You mean all of these?!" Nozomi asked in shocked.

"Yup." Syrup confirmed.

"What did she write in the letter?" Asumi wondered, picking up a letter at random. Looking at the number of letters on the table, Asumi roughly guessed that they were between 30 and 60 or more. She couldn't help but wonder what Milk had written in the letter to get to this number. "There're so many." 

"Syrup, did you deliver all these letters?" Urara asked.

"I'm deliver boy. I deliver everything." Syrup said before he looked at the letter Milk had sent. "But even with that said, it's just too many!"

"This is great! With these we'll know everything about the Palmier Kingdom." Nozomi cheered in excitement. "We should answer Milk properly."

That made Kouji couldn't help but exclaim in shock.

"Eh?! To all of these letters?!"

"Of course!" Nozomi confirmed in excited.

"Erm... that's..." Kouji stuttered while looking at Natsu.
