My son, how are you up there? I've been missing you from the time you left here Your angelic, cheerful face — I always remember Day and night I can hear your charming laughter.
My son, are you running freely in paradise? What scent of flowers makes your heart mesmerized? Are you having fun walking in the streets with barefoot? As golden roads sparkle all day and are purely smooth.
My son, do the clouds that you're hopping in are as soft as cotton? I know you're good at playing harp or lyre or maybe saxophone I do believe that you enjoy singing with your fellow angels The agony will never be by your side again nor any peril.
The moments you're with us are still vivid in my mind Who'd have thought we had you for a short span of time? Nevertheless, every second with you is worth spending For you'd taught us several lessons essential for living.
Lord, before this day will be finished Can you tell my son, I love him and send him my kiss? I am forever grateful for your comfort and mercy overflowing Receive my obedience as my sacrifice and offering.
