George's pov
----------------------"George! I would like to introduce you to someone!"
My eyes landed on the man once again. This time he was looking at me. I noticed his messy dirty blonde hair and his green eyes. He stood up to meet me and I noticed his height. He was wearing an all black suit with a silver chain around his neck. I realised I had zoned out so I blinked a few times to refocus. I cleared my throat and said, "Hello I'm George."
"Hi, I'm Dream." He says with a friendly smile, reaching his hand out for me to shake it. I couldn't hold my laugh. "I'm sorry your name is what?"
"Dream." He repeated with a now nervous smile.
"That's... not a name though." I said, now confused.
"That's just what people call me." He shrugged.I nodded slowly, turning to Steve now, "So uhh who is this guy then?" I asked. I could feel Dream's eyes on me.
"He's your bodyguard." He said with a proud grin.
"My what now?" I tilt my head in question.
"Your bodyguard. You know to keep you safe?" He replied with a sense of sarcasm, "He's going to be with you whenever you go out in public to make sure you aren't attacked or anything. You're far too cocky to be out alone."I was shocked. I cleared my throat again and said, "Uhh sure. Cool."
"Okay I'll let you two get to know each other. I have shown him his room and I'll see you tomorrow." Steve says before leaving the house. I sit down on the sofa and he sits on the one opposite. We stared at each other for a few seconds before he cleared his throat and said, "Uhh... How are you?"
"Yeah I'm uhh.. great." I lied. The whole paparazzi incident was still bothering me. I knew rumors were going to get spread.
"That's nice.." He said quietly. He was playing with his hands. I caught myself looking at him again. My God was he fine.
I stood up slowly and began to walk out of the room, "I'm going out I'll be back soon." As I turned towards the door, I felt a large hand pull me back.
"Where do you think you're going?" He stopped me.
"Out," I said quickly, "I'll see ya later." I left him stood there in my living room as I dashed out of the front door.I got comfy in my car as I passed the John some money as a bribe. 'I don't need some guy babysitting me.' I thought. John puts the radio on and already I'm greeted with stories from the morning.
"Earlier today, actor George Davidson was seen rushing out of an apartment complex on Wilson avenue wearing a simple t-shirt and grey sweatpants. There are now rumors going around that he is either in a secret relationship, or a hookup with someone. Pictures have been since released of him leaving the complex."
I closed my eyes in annoyance. I love my fame but it can sometimes get annoying. People freaking out when I simply live my life.
I looked out the window to see I was here. My favourite club, "The Eagle". As I walk to the entrance and I notice a familiar red car. I shrug it off and go inside to find my usual spot.
I sat for a few minutes, waiting for the waitress. "George?" A familiar voice said. I looked up and my eyes met with Dream's green eyes. He looks nervous.
"Can I help you?" I asked, looking at him annoyed.
"Look man I'm just doing my job, cut me some slack.""You want a drink?" I asked, changing the subject.
"Oh, uh...I'm alright thanks. I don't drink." He replied.
"Oh okay do you want water?"
"Sure." He said with a nervous little smile. I ordered my drink and went on my phone."So uhh how did you know where I was?" I asked, scared that he had a tracker on me.
"Oh, I followed you." He said with a smile. I rolled my eyes in annoyance and he let out a little chuckle.----------------------
Dream's pov
----------------------I caught myself looking at George again. I couldn't help it. He is so handsome with his brunette hair and chocolate brown eyes. His smile is so sweet and his laugh is so comforting. I've only known him for 3 hours now but I couldn't shake this feeling. 'Stay professional.'
George had gotten very drunk and I had to hold him up as we left the club. "But I don't want to gooo." He whined like a child and tried to get out of my grip but I wouldn't allow it. I sat him in the passenger seat of my car and got in my side.
I glanced over at him to see that he had passed out. My eyes gazed through the windshield at the stars. The way they peeked out of the dark blanket of sky was magical.
I snapped out of my trance and started the car. Every now and then I glanced over at George's peaceful face to make sure he was alright.
I pulled into the large driveway and got out of my car. I went to the passenger side and lifted him up to take him to his room. I tucked him into bed and left him to rest. "Goodnight." I whispered before leaving the room.
I got myself ready for bed, remembering what Steve had told me. "Don't let him go to that damn club, I'm worried about him." The words rolled through my mind as I tucked myself in bed.
I laid there with my mind racing. I should've taken him home sooner.
I tossed and turned before finally falling into a deep sleep..
