(a/n: Lmao wrote this instead of revising but oh well.
I keep getting ideas for later chapters but none for the ones before so I apologise if it's a little repetitive and not as good.)

George's pov
--------------------

He grabbed my hand, dragging me out of the house before I had time to protest. Where was he taking me?

He lead me towards the forest causing me to assume we were going to the pavilion. My eyes went to the sky, darkened by grey clouds. Dream's hand slipped from mine making me shift my gaze onto him at the sudden loss of touch.

He began skipping around with his arms in the air. He was giggling and looked so happy. I couldn't stop the wide smile spreading across my face. He was so adorable.

"George I'll race you, loser smells." He said playfully.
"You're on." I replied, chuckling. I waited for a signal to start before I noticed Dream already beginning to dart through the woods.

"Hey! No fair!" I called after him, starting to chase after him. Our laughter echoed through the woods, interrupting the soft chirps of birds.

After what felt like mere seconds, we had made it to the pavilion. Dream was a few metres ahead of me, meaning he won." Haha! I beat you!" He exclaimed breathlessly.

We both walked to the bench that rested on the inside of the small shelter. I sat down but Dream hesitated. His eyes wandered around our surroundings. It had started to rain.

The rain filtered through the trees, dampening the ground. Dream took one look at me before grinning. I shot him a confused look as he pulled out his phone.

(a/n: I reccomend listening to The Night We Met by Lord Huron for this part.)

He tapped away at his screen until a familiar chorus of oohs fell from his phone.

Dream grabbed my hand, leading me out of the pavilion. "What are you doing? It's pouring!" I questioned. He ignored me before dragging me over to a clearing in the trees where the rain fell heavier.

He pulled me close to him and we swayed to the music. His beautiful green eyes glowed in the dim light from the lamps around the pavilion. The emerald green forest, dusted with purple flowers, looked magical in the light.

He looked at me with deep devotion in his eyes. His stare alone was enough to give me butterflies. Nobody had ever made me feel the way Dream did. I had never loved anyone the way I loved Dream.

He had a small smile fixed on his face as we moved to the calm sounds. He stood out from the luchious scenery.

I couldn't believe I had fallen so hard for someone. Part of me felt like it was too good to be true. He was far too perfect to be with me. Yes I was filthy rich and incredibly famous but that meant nothing.

I absolutely adored the way he looked at me. The deep forests of his eyes seemed as though they had been softened.

My eyes went to the silver chain around his neck. The light reflected it right into my eyes.

Everything about him was perfect.

It hadn't been that long and we barely knew anything about each other but it felt as though we were meant to be together. It was bold of me to assume such a thing so early but that was besides the point.

As the beat dropped, Dream pulled away slightly and held onto my hand. He twirled me around before pulling me down into his arms.

Our faces were inches apart, causing my heart to race. I lost all ability to breathe in that moment.

He leaned down, planting a soft kiss onto my lips. He then pulled me back up and we danced around the opening, giggling as we spun around together.

Dream's pov
--------------------

I felt happier than I ever had. George truly made me feel amazing.

As we danced around, it felt as though we'd known each other for years. That we were meant to be.

I had all and then most of you,
Some and now none of you,
Oh take me back,
To the night we met.

I remembered how I felt when I first met him. Sure I already knew of him from movies but that wasn't the same. Yes he was cocky and arrogant but that was the side of him that he showed everyone.

I looked deep into his chocolate brown eyes, illuminated by the surrounding lamps. I noticed a few drops of rain rolling down his forehead. His hair was soaking but it looked really good.

Absolutely everything about him was perfect.

I loved him.

The song slowly faded out and into the next. We continued dancing for what felt like a couple of minutes. We finally made our way to retrieve Dream's phone from the pavilion. I looked at the time.

20:24

It had been about an hour.

He grabbed me by the hand as we walked home together. The rain wasn't as heavy as before so it wasn't a problem. He slipped his hand from mine, resting it on my shoulders and for once, we actually spoke as we walked. We asked each other questions about ourselves.

"Hmm... Can you play any instruments?" I questioned with a smile on my face.
"I actually... I play the guitar, both acoustic and electric," He spoke in a soft voice, "And you?"

"I tried guitar once but it didn't exactly go well." I replied. He let out a small chuckle at my response.
"What went wrong?" He asked.
"I just... Gave up I guess..." I answered.
"I could teach you if you wanted." He said, looking up at me with a grin.
"That would be cool."

A short silence wrapped itself around us. All that could be heard was the soft pitter patter of rain.

"My turn... What's your best memory from your childhood?"

His words felt like a dagger to my chest. I would have to lie. I didn't want to lie. Not to him.

"Uhh... I can't think..." I let out an awkward chuckle at my lies. He stayed silent, nodding gently. I wasn't entirely sure if he had seen through my words.

I wanted to tell him everything. How my parents disregarded me for my sister. How I sometimes went a couple of days without food. How they hurt me if I did anything wrong.

We continued asking each other questions and I eventually forgot all about what he had asked.

It seemed like he was avoiding talking about my past.

I was probably just delusional...
