"I'm so confused about this," I said to Waverly, rotating her notebook sideways.
Waverly chuckled. "It's just algebra, Kyle. It's not that hard."

"Easy for you to say," I grumbled, rubbing my temples. "I'm terrible at math."

Waverly rolled her eyes. "That's because you don't practice enough. Here, let me show you." She leaned over and began explaining the problem to me.

As Waverly continued to guide me through the problem, I couldn't help but feel grateful for her. She was always there for me when I needed help, whether it was with homework or emotional support. Waverly was one of the kindest and most caring people I had ever met, and I was lucky to have her as a friend.

Eventually, I was able to solve the problem with Waverly's help. "Thanks, Waverly," I said, giving her a grateful smile. "I couldn't have done it without you."

Waverly smiled back. "No problem, Kyle. That's what friends are for."

As we gathered our things to head to our next class, I couldn't help but think about Tyler. We had been dating for a few weeks now, and things were going great. Tyler was everything I had ever wanted in a partner - kind, funny, and understanding. He was always there to listen when I needed to vent, and he never judged me for my flaws. I was grateful to have him in my life.
But despite how happy Tyler made me, there was still a part of me that was scared. Scared of getting hurt, scared of putting my heart on the line. I had been hurt before, and the thought of going through that pain again was terrifying.

"Hey, Kyle? Are you okay?" Waverly's voice brought me out of my thoughts.

"Yeah, I'm fine," I said, giving her a reassuring smile. "Just thinking about stuff."

Waverly nodded understandingly. "Is everything okay with Tyler?"

"Yeah, he's great," I said. "I'm just a little scared, you know?"

Waverly's expression softened. "I know how you feel," she said. "But sometimes you have to take a chance on love. It's scary, but it can also be amazing."

I smiled gratefully at Waverly. "Thanks, Waverly. You always know just what to say."
Waverly grinned. "That's what friends are for."

As we headed to our next class, I couldn't help but feel a sense of comfort knowing that I had Waverly by my side. With her support, and Tyler's love, I knew that I could face whatever challenges lay ahead.

"Yeah, I'm struggling with it too," Tyler chimed in, looking over our shoulders at Waverly's notebook. "Maybe we should all study together sometime?"

"That sounds like a great idea," Waverly said, beaming. "I'm always down for a study session with my friends."

We all nodded in agreement, and then Waverly started explaining the concept to us once again. It took a few more tries, but eventually, I think we all got the hang of it.

After a while, Waverly checked her phone and gasped. "Guys, we have to go," she said. "I forgot I have a meeting with the student council in ten minutes."

We all quickly gathered our things and said our goodbyes, promising to meet up again soon.
As Tyler and I walked back to our dorm, I couldn't help but feel a sense of warmth in my chest. I was really starting to like Tyler, and I was excited to spend more time with him.

"So, what do you want to do now?" I asked him.

Tyler thought for a moment. "Actually, do you mind if we go to the park?" he said. "I've been feeling a bit cooped up in the dorms, and I think some fresh air would do me good."

"Sure, that sounds great," I said, smiling at him.

As we made our way to the park, I couldn't help but steal glances at Tyler. There was something about him that made my heart flutter, and I couldn't shake the feeling that maybe, just maybe, he felt the same way.

When we reached the park, we found a quiet spot near a pond and sat down on a bench. The sound of the water was calming, and the sun was beginning to set, casting a warm glow over everything.

We talked about everything and nothing, and as the sky grew darker, Tyler leaned in closer to me. My heart was pounding in my chest as he reached out and took my hand in his, his thumb rubbing soothing circles over my skin.

"I had a really great time today," he said, looking at me with those piercing brown eyes of his.
"Me too," I said, my voice barely above a whisper.

Tyler leaned in closer, and before I knew it, his lips were on mine. It was a soft, gentle kiss, but it was enough to send sparks flying through my body.

When we pulled away, we both had huge grins on our faces. I knew then that I was falling for Tyler, and I had a feeling he was falling for me too.

As we walked back to our dorm, hand in hand, I couldn't help but feel like everything was finally falling into place. Maybe this furry university wasn't so bad after all.
