Release date: September 11th 2013

Lead singles: N.O, Attack on Bangtan

This was to be Grace's last album with BTS and BigHit if her contract wasn't extended and it was a last minute decision by Bang Si-Hyuk who extended the contract at the last minute. She had been ready to pack her bags and move back to her parents when the call came through to say she was staying. One of her least favourite albums because of the pressure and worry of it all being over even with all the hardwork she had put in up to that point.

N.O video was one of her least favourites because of her outfit - pure white, similar to the guys, with gold jewellery and big trainers. It wasn't a look that suited her and she battled with it everytime. But if anything, the single as well as the album was the one that truly introduced her vocals especially If I Ruled the World. She also had a hand in writing BTS Cypher Part 1 and Coffee, a song she found a bit cringy. The album featured the male view heavily, rather than the generic views that would come into play later on but there were lyrics she also agreed with. She just had very mixed feelings about the album in general.

Once again, performances were limited and she kept towards the back especially during the aerobatic moves. There wasn't a particular chorus or verse for her this time, her background vocals and high notes really taking over this time. The fans that had come to love her were annoyed by this, especially as she and Seokjin had limited lines already.

There was a key decision behind the limited vocals from her or sub-rapping - who would take over her verses if her contract wasn't extended? It did cause one or two arguments but it was something Grace knew and understood. After all, she had her bags ready to pack. The next album would be the chance to see Grace fully unleashed and this is what happened.

Facts:

Cringed hard all the way through the Coffee recording, even though she had a hand in writing some of the lyrics

Cringed through it all if she was honest - she could see where the male/teenage male views were coming into it.

Her background vocals were showcased throughout the album, If I Ruled the World gave her a chance to sub-rap as well as sing throughout the chorus and Yoongi's part.

The make-up began to lay back a bit and her eyeshadow was less dark, though the jewellery was more significant this time and the clothes were less baggy but still baggy enough to hide her figure.

This was around the time of Rookie King which she featured quite a bit in and the series showcased her relationship with the boys, many ARMY commented on her interactions with the maknae line as 'being a big sister' and many locals praised her manners as well.
