Another one of Grace's favourite albums or at least one of Grace's favourite series of albums. Another album that Grace had a hand in writing in and this time producing. There was less sub-rapping, more singing and now she could fully belt her voice. She also had a slight hand in writing the narrative that would follow the album series: the start of one's young adulthood in which dreams, happiness and love begins. Grace also began to use 'sound effects' with her voice in the background of the songs which became noticeable in DOPE.

DOPE drew attention due to Grace's outfit choice which was a teacher - as Namjoon cheerfully pointed out, "She'd be the right type of teacher for the future. Very stern, knowledgeable and that little bit fun." So she was picked to be the teacher of the future, though the uniform of a tight pencil skirt didn't help with the complicated dance moves. Outfits during this era headed towards more light-toned ripped jeans, and colourful shirts with blazers being a theme - it was decided that everything Grace wore during the era from concept photos to jacket photoshoots would reflect the character they had created in the BU.

BTS Universe was another turning point for Grace - she wasn't an actor, had no interest in acting but liked storytelling. Hence her character would swing between 'narrator' to 'ARMY's representative' but there was also something that some ARMY's spotted very early on in the I NEED U video as well as the prologue video - Grace was always there, in every scene, but always somewhat hidden. They played it as if she was doing something else, as almost as if she was the one controlling what would happen - this would further play out in WINGS.
FACTS:
Behind the scenes videos on the set of I NEED U and the BU solidified Jin, Yoongi and Grace's status as parents of the group. Plenty of clips of Grace telling off the maknae line were posted all over twitter, though they soon followed with clips of the boys and Grace cuddling in various locations.
Shipping began again between Grace & Jin and Grace & Yoongi as well as Grace & Taehyung. Grace uninstalled Twitter the moment she saw that ship name trending.
