Skip to our match vs Serbia. The England girls won to Finland 3-0 and are playing their next game in 4 days.
We were playing the same starting team as last time so I was playing. We were on a role. We were up 3-0 at half time with me assisting 2. My step dad came up to watch and Amelia tagged along. Which I noticed them straight away.
By the end of the game it was 9-0 I scored 2 and assisted 4. So I had a good game and got I got woman's of the match.
I talked to Ben my step dad for a bit and Amelia catching up which was really nice, before I had to leave.
Now that our match's were done and we have qualified for the u19 euros we only have 1 day left at camp sooo we made the most of it no sleeping at all a lot of junk food and hyper teenagers everywhere. Im pretty sure the people on the other side of the building could here us.
Eventually it's morning and we have to go back to our own rooms quickly and quietly so no one hears us which seems pretty useless now anyway. Once we do it's around 11am and everyone is downstairs waiting for rides and leaving 1 by 1, I was getting a taxi back to arsenal as Leah is still at camp for a while.
As I see my taxi coming I get a text
Le- don't leave yet come to the meeting room please
I just give the message a thumbs up and let the taxi driver know I'll be a few minutes. I go up to the meeting room and see Leah and sarina. I just walk in "hi , u wanted me to come here?" I say questionably. "Yes we did , I have been watching your progress with arsenal and the u19 and you have made a huge impact in every game , I was wondering would you like to train with us over the next few days than you can at least go back to arsenal with the rest of the girls?"sarina says looking at me.
Wow I think how, wow wait wtf, this isn't real, no way, like wait what. My head is a huge mess "ya I would love too that would be great" I reply "fantastic you will room with Jess park as she is doesn't have a roommate, wait here I'll call a meeting for everyone to come here and than you can go, and here is the schedule for the rest of camp" sarina says while handing me my schedule and texting the group of girls to come down. As not even s few moments later the meeting room is full and sarina is introducing me to everyone. The introduction is awkward ok my part but I just hear Beth scream YESSSS KID, before coming over and giving me a hug.
Sarina let's us off to do our own things I go to mine and Jess'a room I see she is a clean person and has all her things neatly piled up. I take the spare bed and take out my essentials. Before the door open which I see is Jess
"Hey I'm y/n" I say trying to sound nice and confident but that's not how it comes out "hi I'm Jess" she reply's with a smile. We eventually get on to small conversations and decide to go down to the game room with the others.
Once we get down all heads look at us "the kid finally shows her face" I hear someone say before people start chucking. I see Leah wave her hand over to sit on the couch with her and watch Millie and Lucy go 1 vs 1 in basketball.
Long story short it was a draw. I was mostly talking to Leah before she says it's time for training. This is going to be so fun, not. I think to myself
