The Predacons act like a huge family. Whenever they're like out on a mission that takes like a week or more they pretty much either make a stack or group up into a ball whenever they need to recharge.

Sometimes Shockwave would let Predaking curl up beside him like a ball then he would proceed to pet him.
It's also normal for Shockwave to wake up with Predaking just being covered with a alive metal blanket who is Predaking.
