Betrayed

Owls hooted, and crickets chirped as Tyler
walked through the moonlit woods to get to a
stone structure that Wednesday asked him to meet at.

He arrived at the location and was looking around for her.

"Thing gave me your note. I was surprised you wanted to see me again after you ran out the other night." Tyler confessed. "So, uh, is this a date?"

"It's a surprise." Wednesday revealed.

Tyler took a couple steps towards her and went to kiss her again but she walked passed him.

"When I came to Nevermore, romance was the
last thing on my mind. But when you kissed me, you opened my eyes and suddenly it all made sense." Wednesday explained.

Tyler still looked very confused.

"Xavier warned us about you, but I didn't
listen." Wednesday continued.

"Ironic now, huh?" Tyler commented.

"Ironic would've been framing Xavier for
murder while the real Hyde helped put him
away."

Tyler suddenly realized what Wednesday was
getting at.

"Wait...you don't think-."

Wednesday cut him off. "I don't think. I know. Kinbott probably discovered your secret
during one of your sessions. So she unlocked
you. Why'd you kill her? I thought Hydes were
typically loyal to their masters."

"Wednesday, seriously, this is nuts." Tyler said.

Wednesday continued speaking like she hadn't
heard him. "On Outreach Day, I told you I was
visiting the old meeting house. Did Kinbott
send you to spy on me? The night of the Rave'N, you overheard Eugene and me discussing your cave in the woods and you warned Kinbott. Eugene probably saw her torching it. Then she sent you to clean up her mess. I have to hand it to you Tyler. Fighting Y/n, which by the way she is way to powerful for you to handle. Wounding yourself that night at the Gates mansion, that was a master stroke of misdirection." Wednesday complimented.

"Okay, stop. Do you know how insane you both
sound right now? I'm not a monster. And... if you really thought I was, why would you risk bringing me out to the woods to confront me alone?" Tyler reasoned

"Who said she was alone?" Y/n asked, walking up behind Wednesday and putting her elbows on Wednesday's shoulder, her hands resting on Wednesday's head and her chin resting on her hands.

From behind the stone structure, Bianca, Ajax,
Yoko, Divina, and Kent appeared, surrounding Tyler.

Tyler looked around at all of them before he
turned back to Y/n and Wednesday. "Okay, I
don't know what kind of sick joke you guys are
playing, but I'm out of here."

Tyler went to walk away, but Y/n stepped in
front of him.

"Where do you think your going bud?" She asked as her eyes glowing a slight red and green. She has wanted to do this ever since that date Wednesday had with him.

"Actually, you're coming with us." Bianca chimed in, using her siren song.

Bianca snapped her fingers near Tyler's head
and he regained consciousness. One his vision
was clearer, he could see he was in Xavier's art
studio surrounded by all the paintings and
drawings of the Hyde.

He also noticed that he was chained up to a chair, and all the Nightshade members, Y/n, and Wednesday were standing in front of him. Wednesday being the closest.

"Welcome back." Wednesday greeted.

"Where the hell am I?" Tyler asked, pulling on
his chains.

"Somewhere no one can hear your screams."
Wednesday told him.

"What's with the chains?"

"Don't ask stupid questions."

"Wednesday, this is crazy. I'm a normie." Tyler
reminded her.

"That's only half true." Wednesday held up a
photo of the fencing team that his mother has
captained, and pointed at a woman. "Do you
recognize her? Perhaps if I hadn't been so
distracted by my own mother hogging this
photo, I would've noticed yours. Your father fell
in love and married an outcast." She revealed.

Tyler looked at her incredulously. "Fine. My
mom was an outcast. That doesn't make me a
monster."

Wednesday put the photo down and picked up a
file.

"According to her personal medical records-."

"You stole her medical records?"

"Technically Thing did. He took them from your
garage. Your father's quite the pack rat. Her
postpartum depression triggered her
condition."

"My mom had severe bipolar disorder." Tyler
said defensively.

"We both know that's a lie." Wednesday
snapped. "She was a Hyde. And your father has
been living his life in dread, never quite sure
whether or not she passed her condition on to
you."

Tyler looked at Wednesday in disbelief and then
turned his gaze to everyone else. "Are you all
just gonna stand there and let her do this to
me? Y/n, come on, I thought we were friends.

Wednesday stood in front of Tyler to block his
view of Y/n. "Don't talk to her. She's mine." She whispered the last part.

"Uh, guys." Ajax interrupted. "Enid just texted.
Thornhill's suspicious. How long until he
morphs into that..thing?"

"I'm not the monster." Tyler insisted.

Wednesday put her bag on the table.

"You are. I saw it in a vision at the Weathervane."

"Wait, you're basing all this off some vision you
had after we kissed? I mean, is that something you can trust?" Tyler asked in disbelief.

Wednesday pulled out a small saw from his bag
and set it on the table. "I never wanted to kiss you. I wanted it to be someone else." Wednesday whispered the last part, but with Y/n being beside her, she heard.

"Who?" Y/n asked raising her brows.

"I'll tell later." Wednesday responded.

"Uh, Wednesday? What are you doing with the saw there?" Y/n asked nervously. She didn't tell her about this.

"Just some light torture. Don't worry, I won't leave a mark." She casually responded.

"Wednesday, hold on." Bianca said.

"Wait, are you serious?" Ajax questioned.

"There's only one thing that a Hyde
understands." Wednesday pulled out a taser.

"Pain."

Wednesday tased Tyler and he grunted in pain,
while everyone shouted protests. Bianca raced
forward and pulled her arm away.

"That's it, I'm out." Yoko said, leaving the
studio.

Davina, Kent, and Ajax followed after her.

"Wednesday, I didn't sign up for this." Bianca
said firmly. "Let's go to Weems and explain
everything."

"Weems won't help. And Tyler is always one
step ahead of his father." Wednesday insisted.

"Then you're on your own." Bianca left as well.

"Wednesday, please, just stop." Y/n begged.

"You said you would help me catch him."

"Yeah, and now we have him. There's no need
to hurt him!"

"I'll give you a turn." Wednesday persuaded.

Y/n smirked and got off the table she was sitting on.

Y/n walked out of the studio door.

"No, Y/n! Don't leave me with her, please!
I'm begging you, please!" Tyler yelled as she
walked out the door.

A couple seconds later Y/n came in. "Don't worry, I'm not leaving." Y/n said, laughing wearily.

Wednesday took out another taser and held one
in each hand. She glared at Tyler as she raised them up and activated them, electricity flowing through them.
