When I asked for your name
(Maybe I am the one to blame)
You smiled and said it's Cane
But I started to doubt if I'm sane.
You sometimes are here
And other times there
How are you everywhere?
Why can't I remember what you wear?
Sometimes I forget your face
As you approach in a peculiar pace
Are you my saving grace?
Or are you here to take me away from this place?
Today you're in my room
Yesterday, watching the flower's bloom
Perhaps tomorrow you'll hold my hand
Perhaps tomorrow is the closest you'll stand
You also visit my dreams
Through loud laughter or muffled screams
You are always there, looking at me
You are always there, a distinace from me
You are always there, there for me
You are always here, but never too near
You are who I want you to be
But I can't get you to be too clear
This is what I fear
How much can you hear?
It feels like you're already inside my head
It feels like you've already dropped dead.
