Chapter 2 - Rise and Fall

I still get the same dream every night, it's them both, over and over again. Seriously, what is with these twins?

I got up, admired my Ai posters for a couple of minutes inside my room, even though she betrayed us, booted up my PC, opened my inbox, and found an email Hikaru had sent me.

"To: Ryosuke-kun

Ryosuke,

Ai has already been discharged from the hospital. She'll be going back to Tokyo, I expect you to execute this properly, otherwise, it will be a-

You probably know what comes next."

I emailed him back with just a clause: "Yeah, I know what to do."

But honestly, I don't, my main goal is to kill Ai, the slut who has been betraying us, yet these dreams are making my head hurt, one looks exactly like Ai, and the other, he definitely looks like Hikaru. Man, are these really the twins? Aquamarine and Ruby?

I was already sweating because of the thoughts coming inside my head, and in no less than ten minutes, Hikaru replied with another email:

"Ai will be performing at the Neoteric Station tonight, so make sure to keep your heads up if she says anything suspicious in front of the camera.

Take note of all the happenings, and use that to your advantage."

Ah, so Ai will be performing again, let's see what comes next in this tale of Ai Hoshino, a liar.

Time went by so fast, I was just scrolling on Reddit and Twitter and it was already 8 PM.
I connected my phone to the Neoteric TV Station, as Hikaru had told me, I need to keep a close watch on Ai.

It's a double whammy, I get to observe Ai, even though she's ultimately a liar, and at the same time, I'll get the information I need to kill this slut.

She deserves to die-

"Ai of B-Komachi Makes Her Comeback

Let's interview Ai who finally returned."

I was startled by the noise coming from my phone. After being caught up with my thoughts, I already kept a close watch on Ai. I took a sip of milk from my gallon, ready to observe.

"How are you doing? Have you been eating properly?" the interviewer asked Ai in a formal tone.

"Yes! I had a lot." Ai said excitedly.
"Speaking of eating, my babies..."

After hearing that phrase, I immediately spat out the milk I was drinking. That was a hilarious slip-up.
(Author's note: Coincidentally, baby Aqua and Ryosuke spat milk at the same time!)

"Babies?" the confused interviewer asked.

"I mean my baby cats! Which I got when I was taking a rest. Ahaha, I ended up saying something weird."
Ai chuckled. She said "baby cats" confidently, but the look of nervousness on her face can be seen. But regardless, she is a true master liar.

Liars should be punished. Ai should be punished. She betrayed us. She betrayed me!

The live performance was already starting.
I see, they were performing サインはB again, which is not too much of a surprise, this was their iconic song.

I stared at the screen, looking for hints.

"I'm happy that we could finally meet
My legs were swinging while I was waiting impatiently
I was looking forward to today so much, I couldn't sleep."
Ai sung.

Cut it with the crap. You never were excited, you lured us fans into this shit.
You.
Will.
Pay.

"Ai... Ai... You big liar. You've already had twins." I muttered loudly in my dark room.

"Why... WHY? HOW DARE YOU LIE TO ME LIKE THAT?"

I had a mental breakdown that I have never experienced before. I ripped all the posters of Ai that were pasted amongst the walls of my room. I let myself destroy her images until I was contented.

After a while, I felt tired. Then sleepy. And for the rest of the night, I was knocked out.

I had a dream. Again. But this time, it wasn't the same dream I always kept having.

In this dream, the girl wasn't there, Ruby wasn't there. It was just the boy. Aquamarine. He's already grown up, way past his adolescence age. And the white, snowy stars that could be found in his eyes were already converted to dim and black stars, exactly like Hikaru's. We can both be seen inside a dark vacuum. And he was holding... a knife? He gripped his blade tightly and started walking towards me. In this dream, I was defenseless. I didn't know what to do.

He stabbed me in the stomach, and the pain, I could feel it, it felt so real. I could feel the cold metal of the blade. And it hurt, so much. Aquamarine pulled the knife out of my stomach. I fell, and eventually, my body turned cold.

I woke up screaming.
