You had photographic memory, and you remembered just about everything you saw and everything you heard. Outside of photographic memory, you had great memory in general.

It, along with your nearly unmatched reflexes, made you an exceptional Quidditch player. You were one of the team's chasers. You remembered which player of the opposite team was which and what role they had, you remembered how to deal with each of them, you were able to make quick moves that even the best players could rarely make, even if they tried.

You were the prized player of the Ravenclaw team. Though, it also put a pretty large target on your back for rival players. Once you were out of the way, it was usually game over.

Your memory made it easy to learn and remember things in your classes, too.

You guessed that the Sorting Hat saw that and sorted you into Ravenclaw - quite fitting, honestly.

Your close friends, Cho and Luna, always seemed to be amazed by all the stuff you could remember.

Honestly, you didn't know whether to feel overwhelmed by the attention, or to feel proud that they thought so highly of you.

You decided, however, to stay humble. That was another appealing trait you were known for.

You were preparing for a quidditch match against Slytherin, and you were somewhat nervous. Your hands were clammy, your body heat was rising, you couldn't stop thinking about it.

It was Slytherin; they were the most ruthless team in Hogwarts. You didn't know what the bloody hell could happen out there.

Flint was a menace, and didn't give a single shit about anything or anyone but himself and victory.

"Do what it takes to win," you heard him say, once.

It was slightly worrisome, because he was absolutely ruthless and cared not about mercy when it came to the very dangerous sport. He shouldn't have been captain at all. But, alas, he was.

And unfortunately, there was nothing you could do about it.

Your friend and the Seeker of the Ravenclaw team, Cho, came up to you when you were adjusting your quidditch jumper.

"You ready?" she asked with a timid smile, bouncing on the balls of her feet. She seemed nervous, too.

Who in their right mind wouldn't be against the Slytherins?

"Yeah," you replied, uncertainty lacing into your words, before adding a small, "I think."

That made her chuckle. "Game's starting in a few minutes," she said, smiling before she turned to join the rest of the Ravenclaw team.

You watched her leave, biting the inside of your cheek. Your heart throbbed whenever she was around. You knew why. You weren't oblivious.

You sighed again, adding one last unnecessary adjustment to your jumper before you left the room to join your teammates.

The adjustment didn't do shit, but you didn't care. Whatever it took to take your mind off of the game as long as you could, you would do.

All you could think about was the way the opposing team was sending chill-inducing glares your team's way once you got outside on your brooms.
