A/N: Y'all... halfway to 100k? You serious??? Deadass?????? Omg you guys make me cry

I love y'all so much, and thank you for all the comments and votes and readsss💕

This one and the next one (yes, there is a part two to come out, soon, which will also kinda be part of the 50k special) are pretty much musicals.

As you listen to the lyrics, you can read the parts of the story that are not italicized so you can imagine what they're doing. (Y'all already know these songs, c'mon. Who doesn't know The Greatest Showman?????) That'll make it easier to keep up with the reading while enjoying the song :)

I enjoyed writing this one and part two so muchhhhh! I've also got another song outside of the parts one and two of Opposing Sides from TGS that I've turned into a completed oneshot (and possibly might do ones for the other songs), and it will be revealed soon!

Y'all deserve this and then some. God bless y'all 😭💕

You were in your fourth year, having transferred from America's Ilvermorny School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. You had been sorted into Slytherin and were a part of the Slytherin Quidditch team pretty much straight away, and today was a game between Slytherin and Hufflepuff.

You played quidditch a lot back at your old school, so you were already more than proficient enough at it to be accepted at tryouts.

You'd always been closed off and quiet, much like Theodore Nott. Most people viewed your disposition as unapproachable and rude, and assumed you were as bad as any other typical Slytherin. Everyone thought it, so what was the point in fighting it?

Everyone was gathered on the bleachers to watch the game, and you and your team got ready to go out.

You were a chaser, and you'd always been pretty good with getting the quaffle through the hoops.

You dodged and flew around the other chasers and beaters trying to get the quaffle from you, and in doing so, you dived downward, gaining speed. They chased you down, and followed you as you pulled up and flew straight up in the air right in front of the tall bleachers. You flew up parallel to it, turning around halfway up so your body was facing the bleachers. You leaned your head back to look upside down at the students standing there, and you saw someone in particular.

It was one of the Gryffindor boys. Dean Thomas.

The world seemed to go into slow motion as you both saw each other closely for the first time. For the split second you saw each other, you were both immediately entranced by the other.

The crowd erupted into applause and excited banter as you flew above them with two opposing chasers in tow, barreling straight for the hoops and scoring for your team.

Dean found himself watching you the entire game, awestruck. Neville and Seamus had to nudge him to break him out of his trance once the students began filing out after the game ended.
