Single daddy Michael being constantly on edge around his new baby, even if she was just yawning he would panic thinking that she was going to cry, and he'd be so relieved when she didn't because he hated when his baby girl was upset. She'd be practically screaming as Michael was making her bottle one handed, having her cradled in his other arm or using it to hold her against his chest as he would sing to her, trying to keep his gravelly voice as soft as possible to smooth her but it's shaking cause he's on the verge of tears himself. And he'd get so stressed and so upset to the point where he'd be crying if he couldn't work out what she needed or he couldn't comfort her, and when she finally quietened down he'd sit or even lay on the sofa, laying her carefully on his chest and kissing her little head, quietly apologising because he thought he was a bad dad and he'd tell her how much he loved her and that he'd never let anything happen to her, and then he'd just stroke her back gently until he too fell asleep to the sound of her quiet breathing, now knowing that she was okay
