first seeing single dad!michael at the video store and he’s browsing through the games while his 7 year old daughter is clinging to his leg because she’s bored outta her mind and your 11 year old son wanders over to look at the ps3 games because he’s into first person shooters and he ends up asking michael what game he thinks is best and so michael recommends him a game but laughs it off saying he should ask his mum before playing it because it’s rated ma +15 and he’s a parent himself so he doesn’t wanna come off as irresponsible but you end up letting him borrow it out and when you have to take it back, your son yet again sees michael but he’s not looking at games this time because he’s over in the kids section getting something for his lil girl so he heads over and michael asks him what he thought of it and they’d have this massive conversation on games and all until michael suggests another game and heads over the the games section, where you actually are at the time, and your son’s like ‘hey! that’s my mum over there!’ and you hear your son’s voice so you turn a little to see him and michael and give him a small smile and before michael can find the game he was gonna recommend to your son, he sees that you’ve already got it in hand and points it out with a laugh saying that his mum’s got good taste in games, and so after that it becomes a regular thing that you see michael and his lil daughter at the video store and he always makes a point to strike up conversation with you, usually about your son first saying how cool he is and you’d comply saying that your son always talks about him and before long he’d end up smoothly asking if you wanted to hang out some time
