- Alaya -
It's has been 6 months now, and my stitches healed well. I had to go to work today since I had already missed too many days. "Are you sure you have to go into work today?" Harris asked for the 10th time since I told him I'm going to work. "Yes, Harris. Im sure. 100%" "okay fine, but I drop you off." "Fine, so let's go, I'm getting late." I quickly grabbed my bag. While he got his keys, we walked out to the car.

It's been so long, but he still hasn't allowed me to do anything myself. He even drives me himself or gets someone to. He stopped outside the company. "I'll be done at 5 today." "Okay, I'll get Sam to pick you." I nodded. I was about to leave when he locked the door. "What was that for?" "You're forgetting something." "I am?" I asked, confused. He leaned in, "Oh right, I placed a heart sticker kn his forehead." I laughed, but he just looked since he didn't find it as amusing as I did. "Harris unlock the door now." He leaned into my seat, hovering over me, he was inches away, stopping my breath, I instantly closed my eyes, but it never happened. I opened my eyes to see him unlock the door as he smirked in my direction. "I hate you," I said sarcasticly as I left. "I love you too."

I entered my company, and everyone greeted me, sking me how I was since it was my first day being back properly. I went straight to my office to look at my schedule. "Happy birthday, miss." She said, handing me a bouquet, "aw, thank you, Ally, " she smiled. I had completely forgotten it was my birthday today. Ally told me my schedule for today. It was pretty laid back.

It was lunchtime when Ally walked in with a bag. "What's that?" "It was left for you, miss." I nodded and looked into the bag. There was a little note;

Pick you up at five,
Don't forget to wear it :)
- your husband ♡

I looked in the bag. There was an outfit and matching heels and a hijab. I smiled at how he made sure everything matched. Excitedly waiting for half 4, I finished my work early and changed into the pink outfit. It was a beautiful and silky outfit. The dupatta was so pretty. I put the matching gold heels. Finishing putting on my hijab, I walked out of my office. So many people complemented me, I thanked and went to the entrance. When I reached the entrance, Harris stood by his car waiting.

I walked up to him, and when he saw I was standing in front of him, he cooked from top to bottom, taking in my outfit. "You look gorgeous. Bambi." He said, leaning in to kiss my forehead. I blushed. "Let's get moving, shall we?" He said and opened the door for me. Once he sat down, I asked him, "Harris, where are we going?" "You'll see." He said before going quiet. We drove around for so long, the scenery changed, we went from the evening in the city to driving on a quiet road.

We started driving towards a big house or something at the end of the road. Harris parked outside while I was sill wondering why we're here. He walked over my side to open my door and offered my his hand, which I gladly accepted. I was about to ask why we're here, when he put a finger to my lips and signaled not to ask. I nodded and went along.

We entered the first door of the house, and it looked much nicer in the inside than the outside. Harris then led us to the end of the hallway, where there was a huge door. I looked at him while he told me to open the door. Being nervous, I slowly opened the door, it was a dark hall, I couldn't tell much about it since it was dark.

"Harris, there's nothing here." I turned to the direction I last saw him, but he wasn't there. Turning again, i called out to him again, "Harris, where are you?" But no response, I was confused and nervous, and walked into the hallway. It was darker, and I couldn't tell where I was. I thought of leaving before I could. I bumped into a wall, and suddenly, all the lights turned on, "SURPRISE," I heard from behind me. I turned my head to see everyone there smiling to see me, I looked around the place, it was decorated. A tear slipped when Harris wrapped on his arm around my waist. "How is this?" Beautiful, I thought, seeing my family, friends, and all my close loved ones. "Thank you." I managed to tell him before I was swept away with my family and friends.

"Mama," I hugged and cried seeing here for so long, "how are you, my beta?" "I've been good alhumdulillah. " I told her, as her eyes watered. Hiba stood near us, watching. "Come here, Hiba." I gestured her to come. "How are you guys here who planned all this?" "Harris bhai did. He flew us over this morning for your birthday." I was shocked, I just thanked Jim for bringing me here. I turned and saw Baba, "Happy birthday beta." He said, patting my head. "Thank you, baba," I said, as I saw his tears also threatening to fall. "Im sorry, beta, for everything I have done wrong, i didn't mean to hurt you." "Don't worry, baba." I said, hugging him.

I was talking to my family when I saw Samia. I ran over to her and hugged her, "You're here." "I would never miss it for the world." I was so happy seeing everyone. Romessa api entered the hall with a box in her hand, Samia ulled me towards her. "Cale cutting time," she announced. I went up to cut the cake as everybody sang happy birthday. The night was memorable, my family, friends, and loved ones celebrating with me after so long.

Soon it was time to go home, slowly everyone left, "Mama, baba won't you stay at pur house?" I asked them as they were leaving, and Hiba ran up in front of them. "Harris bhai got us a pretty hotel, we'll be there." She said, pushing our parents into a car. "Your husband has been sad. You didn't give him any attention." She said, pointing at him. He was busy helping finish up some of the cleaning. I smacked her back. "Right, that means you're going to. Byee." I said, pushing her too.

As everyone left, Harris came up to me, "Ready to go." I smiled and nodded. The car ride home was quiet. The whole time, I tried thinking of how to tell Harris. I had figured it out after we had parked at home. We got out and walked inside the house. "Harris, can we go to the lawn for a while?" "Sure, but is everything okay?" I nodded and walked over to the lawn.

The night was beautiful, and the stars and moon lighted the night above us.

"Alaya, before you say something. I want to say something, something i should have said a while ago, I had meant to tell you thr night we went on our dinner, the day i found out why you forced me to go back. I regretted not telling you when I found out you were kidnapped,  and when you were in surgery.  But i need to tell you, before anything else."

"I love you Alaya, and i don't know when or how you crept slowly in to my life all i know is you are everywhere in every hour of my day in a second or two a thought of you and i seem to get lost so easily in your smile or within a small memory of how your voice sounds like when you are happy i don't know how or why but i miss you i miss you all of the time and I can't imagine my world without you. I'm truly in love with you, " he said, looking into my eyes.

My emotions overflowing, I hugged him as I felt myself relaxed in his embrace and knowing that we feel the same makes it better.

"Harris, I have something as well." He broke the hug and looked at me. I brought him inside and picked up the box from the counter, and passed it to him. Confused, he took the box and started opening it. I put my hand over the box lid before he opened it. "Before, you ppen this box, i just want to tell you that. I always loved you before,  when your heart and mind were somewhere else and even now when you've come to me. I can't imagine someone else other than you. I love you too, Harris." He smiled as I removed my hand from the box, and he opened the box. He took out the piece of paper, reading it over and over again. He looked at me, shocked.

"Is this real, like really." He said, looking between me and the paper. "it's true." I whispered in his ear. He immediately embraced me, "Thank you Alaya, thank you for being in my life. Thank you for not leaving this jerk and idot. Thank you." He said, planting kisses everywhere.

"So you're happy with this?" "Happy? That word doesn't even begin to explain how excited I am for our angel to arrive. We need to set everything up and get them a beautiful room, and we need to take care of their mother." He said, picking me up. "Harris, i can walk." "I know, but not for a few months." He replied, carrying me upstairs.

"Thank you again, Alaya. Thank you so much, " he whispered again.
