After meeting with Tony, El made her way to her desk feeling unreasonably happy, considering that she was at work and currently had about 20 tasks to complete by the end of the day for The Avengers whom she hadn't been able to meet all of them yet.

First task was to organise the files in the storage area. El made her way up to the storage area and quickly realised the place was a mess and looked like it hadn't seen the light of day since 1846.

As Eleanor surveyed the chaotic storage area, her enthusiasm waned a little. It seemed like an overwhelming task to organize the files in such disarray. However, she took a deep breath, reminding herself that she had faced tougher challenges before.

Just as she was about to roll up her sleeves and dive into the dusty piles, she heard a familiar voice behind her. "Need a hand with that?"

Turning around, El found herself face to face with Natasha Romanoff, also known as the Black Widow. El's heart skipped a beat, and she couldn't help but feel a strange connection with the Avenger standing before her.

"Natasha Romanoff, the Black Widow," El stammered, slightly starstruck. "I...uh...yes, I could definitely use some help. This place is a real mess."

Natasha flashed a warm smile, her piercing green eyes meeting El's gaze. "Consider it done," she replied, her voice calm and soothing. "I have a knack for organizing things, you know."

Together, El and Natasha embarked on the seemingly impossible task of taming the storage area. As they sorted through ancient files and dusty artifacts, they discovered they shared a surprising number of similarities. They both loved classical music, had a weakness for cheesy action movies, and were passionate about making the world a better place.

As El and Natasha continued to work side by side, their connection deepened with every passing moment. They shared stories, laughter, and even a few secrets. El couldn't help but feel a sense of joy and comfort in Natasha's presence, as if they were two puzzle pieces that finally fit together.

However, their newfound camaraderie was abruptly interrupted by the blaring sound of an incoming mission alert. Natasha's eyes flickered with a mix of determination and regret. "Duty calls," she said, her voice tinged with urgency. "I have to go, El. But we'll pick up where we left off once I'm back."

El nodded understandingly, though a hint of disappointment lingered in her eyes. "Stay safe, Natasha. We still have a lot to talk about."

With a brief goodbye, Natasha rushed off, leaving El to carry on with the task of organizing the storage area. As she resumed her efforts, El's mind wandered, and before she knew it, she found herself wandering through the Avengers' headquarters.

Lost in her thoughts, El absentmindedly pushed open a door, unknowingly stepping into the living quarters of the Avengers. As she looked around, taking in the personal touches and mementos scattered about, a voice startled her from behind.

"Well, well, what do we have here?" said a deep, authoritative voice.

Startled, El turned around to find herself face to face with none other than Captain America, also known as Steve Rogers. She couldn't help but be taken aback by his strong presence and chiseled features.

"Oh, I... I'm sorry," El stammered, feeling her cheeks flush. "I didn't mean to intrude. I was just... lost."

Steve's eyes softened as he noticed El's genuine embarrassment. "No need to apologize, miss. You must be new here. Can I help you find your way?"

El nodded, grateful for his understanding. "Yes, please. I was supposed to be organizing the storage area, but I ended up wandering off. I guess I got a bit distracted."

Steve chuckled warmly. "Well, we all have our moments of distraction. Don't worry, I can show you the way back. But first, what's your name?"

"I'm Eleanor, but everyone calls me El," she replied, mustering a shy smile.

"Nice to meet you, El. I'm Steve," he said, extending a hand.

As their hands briefly touched, El felt a jolt of electricity shoot through her. It was as if time stood still, and in that fleeting moment, she sensed a connection, different yet equally powerful as the one she had felt with Natasha. The puzzle pieces of her heart seemed to shift once more.

Steve, too, seemed to sense something in that brief contact, his eyes narrowing slightly as he studied El. "You know, El, sometimes unexpected encounters can lead to the most extraordinary friendships."

El nodded, a flicker of hope dancing in her eyes. "I believe that, Captain."

With a warm smile, Steve led El back to the storage area, chatting along the way as if they had known each other for years. El couldn't help but feel that her accidental detour had brought her to a place she was meant to be, surrounded by people who understood her in ways she never thought possible.

Little did El know that her journey as part of the Avengers was just beginning, and the paths of her soulmates, Natasha and Steve, would converge in ways that would shape the destiny of the team. As they continued their work, El couldn't help but feel an unshakable sense of optimism, knowing that she had found her place among Earth's mightiest heroes and that together, they would face whatever challenges lay ahead.
