Finally it is my birthday! The day I have been waiting for since last year. Today I successfully turned 17. Although I am a bit sad that I am becoming an adult so fast but also a bit happy as well knowing that I will have freedom and can do whatever I want on my own. I am still a little scared of all the responsibilities I will have at that time but I have trust in myself that I can get through anything no matter what .
After waking up in the morning I took a warm bath to get myself prepared for the day. I applied lotion and did my morning skin care. I applied soft blush on my cheeks and a pink tint on my lips.
I wore a beautiful floral baby blue dress that dad gifted me yesterday. I put on a pair of white shoes with it and took my white side purse .

Today I want to start my day by having breakfast at my favourite café . Smiling I opened my bedroom door and met with a shocked faced Katherine. which immediately turned into a smile
"Hi Kathy! Good morning" I squealed happily
"Good morning dear. Seems like you are very excited for the day. I was just about to come to you to get you ready but to my surprise you already are" She said
" You know I wanted to go to my favourite café for breakfast today and I have to go early as I want my favourite chocolate croissant, it always gets stock out when I go there and how do I look?" I asked twirling
She smiled while patting my head
"You look lovely dear, you look like a fairy" I smiled brightly at her
"Let's go downstairs now and happy birthday darling, this is a small gift from me " she said with her soft voice while handling me a beautiful lavender coloured gift box with a white ribbon on top
"Thank you" I smiled while taking the gift and started to unbox it
"It isn't much but I hope you will like it" she said while nervously playing with her fingers. Trying her hardest not to express how nervous she is.
I opened the box and my eyes widened. "Did you make it?" I asked. My eyes still staring at the gift she gave.
"Uh yeah, did you not like it? If not th-" Before she could even finish her sentence I engulfed her into a bone smashing hug
"Thank you thank you sooo much" I exclaimed happily "It is so beautiful I love it! I am going to style this with my frocks from now on" I said after letting her go. I smiled brightly staring at the cardigan.
It was a lavender coloured cardigan with small white flowers all over. The sleeves were long and puffy. It is beautifully woven like a professional. I cannot stop touching the soft smooth material .She sighed in relief after watching my beaming happy face.
