This story is basically Jurassic and Prehistoric Park and Primeval thrown into a blender with Scooby-Doo, Spec-Evo projects like The Future is Wild or After Man sprinkled in.
It opens to a Super Market, a Deer runs into a parking lot with some cars, the deer looks around as unbeknownst to it, something was hunting it, stalking it from the shadows, then without warning, it pounces, driving it's fangs into the Deer's neck and snaps its neck, killing it. The creature tears into the Deer and starts eating it, a person walking to his car sees the creature, it turns to face the person and roars

The person runs away as the creature goes back to feeding on its kill. It cuts to Crystal Cove High School, 8 days later, we see Ethan drive up in his new Mustang

It cuts to a enclosure on Sanctuary Island, Molly, the Island's Reptile and Amphibian specialist was watching the resident Philippine Sailfin Lizards, Brad and Angelina.
