"They say you're hard to please, but I'll still give myself to you. Be my valentine."
Mirella thought he didn't mean that for real. She replied really unserious with "That sounded so cheesy, you should put that in a song. Fits the rest of your songs...
Visiting Natalia felt like getting a break from everything. She was my closest friend and even if we were so different as single personas, we still fit very well together. "Cheer up baby!", Natalia said walking into the room with two cups of hot chocolate in her hands. I was sitting on the couch still trying to find myself after this morning shook me up. "You're so talented Mirella and you're the most confident when you play for yourself. Also, I find it wild of you how you just really left your mother sitting there in the office hahahahahahah." She let out a laugh that cracked Mirella into laughing as well. She loved how Natalia laughed at situations she worried about. She caught her breath again. "I mean yeah thinking about it now does make it lowkey funny not gonna lie but now it's getting serious.", she said taking a sip of the hot chocolate. The best way to cure these February blues was to spend time with Natalia and have their hot chocolate they would even drink during summer if there was something important to discuss. It was just their thing and she loved the comfort it brought to her. Natalia was beautiful. She had darker skin and her Afro made her look like she was wearing a crown. She wore her hair open because she said she wanted to get braids the next day. Natalia was a free spirit, letting go of things that stopped her from making her smile shine. It always shined and was so contagious and brought light into Mirellas world. 'What would I be without her?', she thought to herself whilst looking at her still trying to recover from her laugh. They looked at each other still smiling and enjoying the vibe it created filling the room in comfort. Natalia tilted her head looking at her nerdy looking friend," you need to dress a little better for that casting right now you look like you give private mathematic lessons to middle schoolers." "Well thanks!", Mirella said sarcastically. "Wait a sec." Natalia said pointing her finger to the ceiling and lifting herself, "I got something fitting for you." "Natalia you really don't have to...", Mirella said. All she got from Natalia as an answer is a 'Shhhh'. She got back holding some clothes and forced her friend up trying tons of different outfits. Natalia really had everything you could think of in her closet. She was the type of person to dress up for any daily occasion and find fun in it. Partying was also one of her passions. She really could be described as a free spirit. Whilst Mirella was trying outfit after outfit Natalia would spill some tea about men she's recently been hooking up with. Her free spirit really impacted her dating life. It made it hard for her to stay in a seriously developing relationship but she always cared about Mirella. She was just like the mother she never had, the friend she always needed when she felt most lonely in her apartment. Even after Mirella told her about Simba's disappearance, she bought her a little cat plushie that was just a little bigger than a keychain plushie. She always had it since she received it from her best friend in either her bag or attached to her carrier for her guitar.
After hundreds of outfits the private catwalk came to an end and they decided on an outfit.

Combined with her long wavy dark hair she looked like an Italian summer written by Lana Del Rey. She felt confident and beautiful about herself.
After loosing their attention about the upcoming event in the Netflix show they've been binging for the past few weeks, Natalia broke the silence. "Do you consider wearing your glasses to the fit tho?" "I think so yea", Mirella replied confused about the specific question. "Wear your contacts, they have to see your beautiful eyes better. I hope they fall for you.", she said calmly nudging her with her elbow but Mirellas cheeks started heating up. "NO WAY YOU LIKE SOMEONE OF THEM????", Natalia scream laughed at her friends discomfort. "No, I DON'T! They're just all are not much older than me and it makes me nervous. That's all." "Yeah right." Natalia said raising her eyebrow at her friend."Which one?" Natalia added. Mirella just threw the nearest pillow she could grab at her friend. "Yea yea, that's what I thought. But jokes aside when's the casting." Natalia said grabbing popcorn out of the bowl on her lap. "It's tomorrow... FUCK!" , Mirella said whilst cold shivers started covering her entire body. Natalia laughed at her.
It was already late. Natalia went to the bathroom doing her night routine whilst Mirella was sat on the couch scrolling on her laptop trying to decide which song to perform tomorrow. She's been working on a lot of songs recently so she had all her work right in front of her. She's been debating on whether to sing one of their sonst but it didn't put a good message of her out to them. She really has to put on a show that would show them as much of her persona as possible. 'I can't mess this up this is my last chance.', she mumbled to herself.
She was eager for getting that spot and for putting on the best performance of her life. Natalia returned soon after and they both spend the rest of the evening contemplating which song would suit best and be good enough. Her friend loved all of them. Mirella even had an iPod with all her songs on that she would update once in a while and give Natalia to listen to her way to work. Natalia even played the songs in the cafe shes been working in on the weekends. Soon she left Mirella in the living room to go to bed. Loosing track of time she pulled an all-nighter just to fall asleep little after the sunrise.
Dreaming
The view was beautiful. The skyline at night with thousands of lights and thousands of different lives living in front of her. Cars and tall buildings touching the sky and some blending into it. Looking down at her she was siting on the floor next to a huge panoramic window that had its beginning on the floor and stretched to the ceiling. She felt someone's presence in the room but it was comforting in some way. It was a kind of comfort that was different from that one she had with her friend but familiar enough to feel safe. Mirella wore an oversized shirt and she couldn't even tell what she wore underneath due to its size. She looked over to the queen sized bed not changing her sitting position or the way her hands were laying on her thighs. The big white sheets covered someone. Form the look of it it was a man but the only thing she could see was the dark fluffy hair out. That persons hand was stretched out revealing a bit of their chest. A star tattoo.
"Mirella wake the fuck up!!" And with that her mind traveled back into reality in an instance.
