Kairu had always been a loner. For as long as he could remember, he had been content with his own company. He didn't need friends, he didn't want them. All he wanted was to be left alone. He never understood why people needed to be surrounded by others all the time, why they craved attention and validation. Kairu was perfectly happy with his books, his music, and his own thoughts. He always dreams about having a nice friendship and get into a healthy relationship despite of him being anti-social and introverted.

But today was different. Today was the first day of school, and Kairu was starting high school. He had never been to a school this big before, and he was dreading it. He had spent the entire summer holed up in his room, avoiding social interaction as much as possible.

As he made his way to school, Kairu couldn't help but feel nervous. He didn't know what to expect, and he didn't want to be there. He felt like he was walking into a lion's den, surrounded by people who would never understand him.

When he arrived at school, Kairu tried to make himself as small as possible. He walked with his head down, hoping to blend in with the crowd. He didn't want to draw any attention to himself.

But even with his best efforts, Kairu couldn't avoid the stares. People were looking at him, sizing him up. He could feel their eyes on him as he made his way to his first class.

When he walked into the classroom, Kairu immediately looked for a seat in the back. He didn't want to sit in the front, where he would be more visible. He found an empty desk in the corner of the room, as far away from the other students as possible.

As he sat down, Kairu tried to make himself as small as possible. He pulled out his notebook and his pen, and started doodling in the margins. He didn't want to make eye contact with anyone else in the room.

But as the other students started to file into the classroom, Kairu could feel their presence. He could hear them talking and laughing, and he couldn't help but feel like he was on the outside looking in.

As the teacher started the class, Kairu tried to focus on what she was saying. But his mind kept wandering, and he couldn't concentrate. He felt like everyone else in the room was in on some secret that he wasn't privy to.

As the class went on, Kairu could feel his anxiety growing. He didn't know how to interact with the other students, and he didn't want to try. He was content with being alone, but he knew that wasn't an option in high school.

When the class ended, Kairu packed up his things and made a beeline for the door. He didn't want to stick around and talk to anyone. He just wanted to go home and be alone.

But as he walked through the halls, Kairu could feel the weight of the stares. He knew that people were talking about him, and he didn't know how to handle it. He felt like a fish out of water, completely out of his element.

When he finally made it home, Kairu collapsed onto his bed and let out a deep breath. He knew that he couldn't avoid interaction forever, but he didn't know how to navigate the social waters of high school.

As he lay there, Kairu thought about his options. He could try to be more social, try to make friends, but he didn't want to compromise who he was. He didn't want to pretend to be someone he wasn't just to fit in.

But he also knew that being completely isolated wasn't healthy either. He needed some level of human interaction, even if it was uncomfortable for him.

As he thought about his options, Kairu made a decision. He would try to be more open, more approachable. He would try to step out of his comfort zone, just a little bit.
