(Y/N) sat alone in the base, with an indescribable feeling of loneliness weighing her down. She had always been a cheerful person, but the recent battles had taken a toll on her. Her mood had been downcast for days, and no one seemed to take notice.

One day, Optimus, noticed your depressive state and couldn't help but feel concerned. He approached you, and you looked up to find him standing beside you.

Without a word, he knelt down beside you and wrapped his strong arms around you. You felt a mixture of comfort and surprise. His embrace was so fatherly, and it made you feel like a child again. Thus, you rested your head on his broad chest to listen to the rhythmic beats of his metallic heart.

Optimus started humming a light melodious tune, and you closed your eyes. you felt tears welling up in your eyes as you thought of all the losses he had suffered and the fact that he was in a foreign planet, fighting a battle that never seemed to end.

you couldn't help but cry, and Optimus held you tighter, comforting you through your tears. And just like that, you found solace in his embrace, knowing that you had someone who understood your pain.

From that moment onwards, Optimus made it his duty to check on you daily, making sure you was okay and bringing you little gifts to put a smile on your face. It wasn't long before you regained your joy, and started helping out more in the base, filling it up with light and laughter.
