Magic, mana, entities used on the battlefield or to fulfill basic needs in everyday life. Though these 'tools' greatly encompass the simplicity of life they also bring horrors to the unbeknownst.
Creation, Destruction, Life, Death all aspects of what could behold this power beyond imagination. A gift from those beyond the understanding of mortals though not out of reach from the gift they gave them.
A boy no older than eleven harnessed it once, his existence an anomaly to all those before him.
A young boy with no idea of the cruel path fate had chosen for him.
Now another walks the path, will it differ or will fate spin its web once again.

TessIt's been a while huh?
What now like two years?
I miss you, really I do...
I'll soon be attending Xyrus academy.
I'd be surprise if I learn much from there but hey it's always good to meet new people isn't it?
I wish to see you there, honestly it do me good.
Being secluded in the beast glades hasn't quite helped with keeping a wealthy mental state.
The reason why im writing this letter is well... mostly because I missed you, the elves, my place in Zeltair. But I can't deny the fact that I want to return to my friends.I'll see you in Xyrus ok?
Also, a slithering little black dot has been begging me to see you again, she really misses you.I'll see you soon Tess
Art.
I'd sent that letter over a month ago, I'd hope to receive a response of any sign I'd be meeting her soon but I never received such a thing.
As days passed my time in the beast glades grew to its close, I couldn't say it wasn't beneficial, hell me and Sylvie had progressed even faster than, ever actually.
Sylvie now at dark silver and me following her with a light yellow core filled with cracks, even than she doubled my progression. Though my mastery on the other hand, I triumph in that one.
With my broken perse mana core I needed to find a work around for it, like in my old world technique was always key. My swordsmanship was already to a very advance point so I turned to elemental mastery and spell formation.
The sheer knowledge hidden behind mana capabilities is monstrous.
Sylvie had grown leaps and bounds infront of me with Algrathuim but even than her ability to heal sustained injuries and the creation of spellform baffled me.
Even then I learn daily about mana, it's properties how to manipulate it, but I did find one thing that surprise me. Even without manipulating mana it willingly responds to my demands like a sentient life form.
I first viewed it as a plant but soon realized it's sentient 'brain' was more advanced than that. It's surprising no one researched mana, thoroughly anyway. Artificers jobs were meant for that before they turned to a technological task leaving the spot empty.
It wasn't particularly out of place for research being left vacant as this world was situated in a more medieval period than my own. What did it even matter?
I was saddened by the fact that Tess hadn't written back, I'd even found her a beast core well suited for her,
