Interviewee : @ineedsomesleeptoday

Interviewer : vanhi

..........

Vanhi : How did you come across wattpad?

 Interviewee :  I came across wattpad because of my sister. She used to write fanfiction. However, I wasn't allowed to open an account then. But I used to read stories from her account ;)

Vanhi :  Who's your motivation to write? -- hmm.... its a bit tricky question. My mother once told me to stop wasting time and do something productive. That's why, i was searching for something to do. I remember I first wanted to write after reading a Bangla detective series "Tin Goyenda " or "Three Detectives ". But I wrote a story for the first time after reading "Misir Ali" by Humayun Ahmed . Write now my sad song Spotify list acts as my motivation. Also special thanks to my friend Skyland2704 for always motivating me

@Skyland2704

Vanhi :  Do you think Wattpad is a great platform?

 Interviewee :  Yes and no both. I think it's the perfect place for a new writer to share their stories. But it's also true that sometimes some really good stories get overlooked or don't get much response

Vanhi : What's your favourite genre?

Interviewee : Mystery- thriller especially if it's a story with detectives , lawyers or something like that. I love Horror too. I am thinking of writing a story of these genres soon

Vanhi :  Do you think writing is a kind of relaxation?

Interviewee: Definitely. 100 percent. There are times when I feel a bit down, then I open my phone and write a few lines. This instantly calms me down.

Vanhi :  What's the first book that you've read in wattpad?

Interviewee :  I think it was a Harry Potter fanfic but I can't remember the name right now. The first book which was not a fanfic and which made me want to open an account was " Expiration Date." Its still one of my favourite books

Vanhi : Who's your favourite writer??

Interviewee : in wattpad its cutesight. I started reading the Haikyuu fanfics and fell in love with them. Jesminarun and Adaa_Mala are my favourite writers too. Outside Wattpad, my favourites are Riley Sager , Karen M.McManus, Holly Jackson and the Queen of mystery herself that means Agatha Christie. Humayun Ahmed, Rakib Hasan and Mohammad Zafar Iqbal are my childhood favourites (still love their works a lot)

@cutesight

@Jesminarun

Vanhi : What are your future goals?

Interviewee :  I am trying to less phone so that I can focus on study. Its my main worry right now. Apart from that, I wish to learn oil painting too.

Vanhi : How do you improve yourselves in terms of writing?

Interviewee :  Whenever I get time, I try to read books written by different writers. This helps to improve my grammar and vocabulary. But, the most important thing is practice. The more I write , the better I will get

Vanhi : What suggestions you would love to give for budding wattpad writers?

Interviewee : Don't be afraid to share your writing. No one is perfect. There might be some mistakes in your writing but it's alright. People get better with time. Don't let hate comments affect you rather try to learn from them. And if someone is being extra rude, simply block them. It's normal to feel discouraged if your book gets less votes. But, this doesn't matter. If only one person is reading that book , then you should write for that person. Most importantly, write for yourselves . So that one day you can come back and read this and thing why did I wrote it !! Or this part was amazing!! So just have fun and keep writing

Vanhi : thank you !

Interviewee : thank you a lot.
