Kalilah wasn't surprised when Timothee facetimed her after she texted back. she was midway through doing her makeup while Harry was out when she answered his call. and his smiling face appeared on screen.
"I didn't expect you to reply, yknow." were Timothee's first words, tone teasing.
"let me guess, drunk text?" Kalilah chuckled.
Timothee hummed, "well although you are my favorite ex to drunk text, it actually wasn't. I have been missing you."
"oh really? so where in the uk are you?" Kalilah asked.
"London." Timothee informed, "but I hear you have a show in Reading tonight."
"yeah I do but I'm busy tonight." Kalilah mumbled.
Timothee wasn't stupid. he could read Kalilah like a book. they were together nearly two years after all. and he could tell something was off. if she had plans, she was usually so eager to tell someone.
"what's happened, kaykay." Timothee sighed, "who's upset you?"
"no one it's nothing really." Kalilah assured.
Timothee frowned, "something happen with Harry?"
"we uh kissed last night." Kalilah told him, "and yeah he basically seemed like he wanted something more then suddenly acted like there never would be."
"then why are you talking to me!? you finally have him, Kaykay! you worry to much and end up self sabotaging! don't mess this up." Timothee argued.
Kalilah huffed, "I thought you missed me!"
"who cares? this is the guy you were crazy about. I miss you but I'm more than happy being your friend if you get your happiness." Timothee assured, "so tell him you want him and get your man!"
"oh my god you're so dumb." Kalilah laughed.
"well you're gonna worry otherwise and someone needs to tell you what to do so you don't do dumb stuff." Timothee taunted.
