"yeon yeon yeon yeon!"
"hmm?" haeyeon stirred awake as her hands roamed about on the other side of her bed; still slightly warm
did he just leave..?
"yah! stinky yeon! wake up! we're gonna be late for school... i told you not to stay up too late.. what time did you sleep"
haeyeon shook her head, displeased
haechan used both of his hands and pulled her up from the bed. "are you seriously going to repeat what happened on the first day of school..."
"i'm.. awake.." haeyeon said, her eyes still barely opened as her twin heaved out a sigh
"whatever, if you're not downstairs in fifteen, i'm leaving without you" haechan huffed away and slammed the door on his way which automatically woke her up
"YES I'M AWAKE!"
ring ring ring!
haeyeon stumbled into class, her hair tied into a messy bun and her uniform slightly crumpled
"well well well, glad you could finally join us, ms lee..." mrs yin, the geography teacher's loud voice boomed as she recollected herself
"i'm sorry mrs yin"
"this is your first warning, don't make it a second" she said sternly, motioning haeyeon to take her seat before she carried on with the lesson
"aha... what kind of interesting thing happened last night that you didn't get much sleep.." haeyeon raised an eyebrow at her best friend
"are you a fortune teller or something..?" bora chuckled at her friend, "silly girl, those dark circles told me everything"
haeyeon's eyes widened, "huh wait what.. my dark circles can talk— "
bam bam bam!
"ms lee and ms han, outside now and put your hands up. i'll talk to both of you later" mrs yin instructed as the two young ladies immediately went outside for their punishment
"i can't believe mrs yin released us so late for lunch... ugh" bora complained as her arm draped over haeyeon's shoulder
bora and haeyeon finally got dismissed after mrs yin spent twenty minutes on lecturing them about what happened earlier...
as they entered the hallway, bora caught a glimpse of the brown haired guy waiting with his back against the lockers
"oooo... looks like you have someone waiting for you... i'll head to the cafeteria first, see you yeon!" she said, quietly leaving haeyeon with jaemin
"jaem... i need to talk to you" she started, looking around the hallway to see if there were any peeking eyes
"hey yeon, how was cla— " before jaemin could even finish his sentence, he was grabbed by the collar and pulled into the janitors closet
"so what's this very important thing that you couldn't wait to tell me..?" jaemin crossed his arms and switched on the light
she raised a brow, "how do you know where's the light switch? wait— have you been here before.. no! oh my god, is this your make-out spot???"
"hmm but.. we could make this our make-out spot if you want" he sent her a playful smirk
haeyeon crossed her arms, "you're joking right!?" she exclaimed with a frown on her face
"whatever... from today onwards i'll lock my windows and doors so you can't enter my house again"
jaemin crossed his arms, "is that a threat i hear?" he asked with a smirk on his face
haeyeon slapped him on the chest, "this isn't funny. i'm being serious..! ugh whatever i'm going to lunch! don't follow me"
"but we're going to the same place princess"
"well.. just take another route! any route but mine"
with that, she stormed off, her small legs stomping on the ground, as she hit the lights on the way out, leaving him in the dark
jaemin smiled to himself, feisty but cute

"jaemin hyung.. why do you look like that.. so sulky..." chenle whispered out the last part but he heard it anyways
"i heard that lele... and i am not sulky" he huffed out, digging into his food

"even the way you eat screams i'm sulky!!" haechan moved his hands around to exaggerate a little. "ok jaeman tell me.. which girl rejected you..."
jaemin subtly look at haeyeon from across the table to see that she was also listening in
"i don't think that's any of your business right..." he shook his head at his friends that gossip a little too much
"ohhhhh nanana jaemin you are definitely hiding something... and i will find out" haechan grinned, turning to face jeno, who put his hands up in defense

"i don't know anything..." jeno said innocently
"but you two are neighbours.."
"and? i actually mind my own business, unlike you hyuck.. don't be such a busybody"
"what did you say lee jeno!!! i will.. "
their bickering voices all became muffled as his eyes locked on his girlfriend who was still mad at him

haeyeon looked up from her phone and across the table at jaemin, who gave her a small pout

she smiled at her phone as she looked up, back at him
