"This guy is crazy," Jimin mumbled as he stared at the young guy in front of him, who was leaning down on the couch in the common room. "For her only," Jungkook snickered, waiting to observe Jimin's reaction.

"Have you seen the way she stares at us?" Jimin came forward, attempting to put some sense into the lovesick Jungkook. "Yeah, makes me like her even more."

Jimin's lips twitched in slight annoyance at Jungkook's response. He knew his friend wasn't one to give up easily, especially when it came to matters of the heart. Jungkook was determined to win over Chaeng, no matter what obstacles stood in his way.

"Jeon Jungkook, she despises you. She despises each of us," Jimin carefully sat beside his friend, hoping to reason with him. "She's no match for you, my brother!"

For a moment, Jimin thought Jungkook would consider his words and perhaps back down. However, it only resulted in a short laugh escaping Jungkook's mouth. Jimin sighed, realizing that his attempts to dissuade Jungkook were futile.

"Okay, go ahead! Get ready to be insulted by some random fresher whom you don't even know about!" Jimin's frustration seeped into his words, making Jungkook smirk.

"What do you want to know, hyung? Her address? 23rd in the front row, Violet Street, Seoul. Her favorite plushie? The blue elephant, kept on the third shelf of her cupboard. Her favorite food? Shin Ramyeon, all flavors. Her favorite lingerie? The purp-" Jimin's eyes widened, and in a reflex action, he immediately cupped Jungkook's mouth. "Alright, that's enough information!"

Jimin eventually sighed in defeat and left the common room. He knew there was nothing he could say to stop Jungkook from pursuing Chaeng. Jungkook was relentless when it came to matters of the heart, and he wouldn't let anything or anyone stand in his way.

Undeterred, Jungkook leaned back on the couch, a determined glint in his eyes. He knew winning over Chaeng wouldn't be easy, but he was up for the challenge. She intrigued him with her fiery spirit and sharp wit, and he found himself drawn to her in ways he couldn't fully explain.

Chaeng's POV ;

I explored my surroundings carefully. There was so much greenery; it amused me. I had never seen such a beautiful scenery before right in front of me. Sylvania looked like a work of art. It had so much beauty lying inside of it.

I didn't tell Eun where I was heading to. I wanted to visit the garden and spend some time here, all alone. The garden was present on the ground floor, a little away from the castle entrance. I was having fun while exploring the castle through the map, and eventually, I ended up here.

The gentle breeze caressed my face as I strolled along the garden path, taking in the vibrant colors and sweet scents of the flowers. It was a peaceful oasis amidst the chaos of school life.

Lost in my thoughts, I didn't notice Jungkook approaching until he was standing just a few feet away from me. His presence disrupted the tranquility of the moment, and I couldn't help but feel a sense of unease.

"Well, well, if it isn't Kim Chaeng," Jungkook smirked, his voice laced with a hint of arrogance.

I raised an eyebrow, not impressed by his cocky demeanor. "What brings you here, Jungkook?"

He leaned against a nearby tree, his gaze fixated on me. "I see you like to spend time in the garden. Quite the escape, huh?"

I crossed my arms, regarding him with a mix of curiosity and suspicion. "And what's it to you?"

Jungkook shrugged nonchalantly. "Just thought I'd see what all the fuss is about. You know, since you're always going on about how stupid Sylvania is."

I narrowed my eyes, sensing his underlying sarcasm. "You don't have to pretend to be interested, Jungkook. I know you're just here to mock me."

His smirk widened. "Who said anything about pretending? I'm genuinely curious."

I couldn't help but feel a bit perplexed by his response. Jungkook had a reputation for being a troublemaker, and his sudden interest in the garden seemed out of character. But there was something about his gaze, something that hinted at a hidden motive.

Ignoring my better judgment, I decided to play along. "Well, if you're genuinely curious, why don't you take a moment to appreciate the beauty around you? It might surprise you."

Jungkook chuckled, his eyes never leaving mine. "Oh, I assure you, Chaeng, I've seen my fair share of beauty. But the question is, have you?"

His words hit a nerve, and I felt a flicker of annoyance. I refused to let his snide remarks get to me. "I appreciate beauty in its various forms, Jungkook. I don't need your approval."

He took a step closer, closing the distance between us. "You don't need my approval, huh? That's a bold statement, Chaeng. Maybe you're not as uninterested as you claim to be."

I stood my ground, meeting his challenging gaze. "Don't mistake my willingness to engage in this conversation for anything more, Jungkook. I'm not interested in playing your games."

Jungkook's smirk faltered for a moment, and a flicker of something unreadable flashed in his eyes. But just as quickly, he regained his composure.

"Well, we'll see about that, Chaeng," he said, his voice dripping with a mixture of arrogance and intrigue. "We'll see if you can resist the allure of the game I have in mind."

With that cryptic statement, Jungkook turned on his heel and walked away, leaving me standing there, slightly bewildered by the encounter. There was something about his presence that both intrigued and unsettled me. I couldn't deny the growing sense of curiosity, but I also knew that engaging with Jungkook would be a risk.

"What's wrong with this guy?"
