Third Person POV

At the entrance of a town we can see a bunch of monster standing at a seemingly human but appearance can be deceiving. While the logic says that when a monster spotted a human it became aggressive and will try to kill the human but what's happening this time is the opposite. At the entrance of the town the whole monsters that are present is on the verge of crying because one of their leader is leaving.

Kage: "So guy's I'm off"

Kage said while waving his hand to the monsters

Rimuru: "Wait before you leave, how can we contact you?"

Kage: "Ow! About that I will bring someone here that can represent me while I'm away"

Rimuru: "I don't think you know someone outside our town"

Kage: "Well you're correct but gaining an ally when I go on my journey is possible you know"

Rimuru: "Your certainly correct"

Kage: "So you don't have any more questions?"

Rimuru: "None"

Kage: "Ok then can you tell Shizu that I leave because I wouldn't have the chance to say it to her"

Rimuru: "Ok, Good luck on your journey and see you soon "

Rimuru raise his hand for a handshake while Kage reciprocate it and pull him over to hug him

After a moment of silence they separated to each other and Kage turn to the people that is behind the back of Rimuru

Kage: "Guys I'm off"

Kage said while waving his hand at them

After properly saying goodbye, he finally departed

His first goal is to explore the east side of the Great Jura Forest. The Great Jura Forest territory is massive that's why he need to act fast because he plan on leaving this territory after Rimuru defeated the orcs. The reason why he wants to stay during the orcs invasion because he plans to use the orcs souls for his experiment about souls and energy just like what Rimuru do when he evolve his subordinate.

Rimuru POV

Rimuru watched Kage's departure from the town with a mixture of emotions swirling within him. Although he knew that Kage's journey was essential and had been planned for some time by himself, the reality of his brother figure absence weighed heavily on his heart.

As Kage's figure became smaller in the distance, Rimuru couldn't help but reminisce about the time they had spent together. Kage had been there from the very beginning, offering guidance, support, and friendship when Rimuru had first arrived in this world as a slime.

Rimuru: sigh "Kage, you really are something else. Always so mysterious and unpredictable."

Rimuru had come to rely on Kage's wisdom and unique abilities. Kage's departure left a void in their group dynamic, and Rimuru couldn't help but feel a twinge of sadness.

Rimuru couldn't deny that he was worried about Kage's well-being. The world they lived in was fraught with danger, and Kage was known for his insatiable curiosity, which often led him into unpredictable situations. Yet, Rimuru also knew that Kage possessed incredible strength and wisdom.

Rimuru: "I trust in Kage's abilities, but that doesn't mean I won't miss him."

The town they had built together had become a testament to their friendship and leadership. Rimuru knew that he would have to take on even more responsibilities in Kage's absence, and he was determined to honor his brother's legacy.
