I've known Jax for so long that my parents practically adopted him as their own.
he and I had been through so much in life together. we were each other's first for everything.
then we seemed to drift apart come high school.
a few years later we got back together and caught up on so much.
he told me what had happened since we'd last seen each other and I told him what I had been up to.
here recently I had lost my dad the last parent I had cause I lost my mom when I was in college.
