THE CHILDREN

A mother and father were busy with their bills

The kids played outside

Running everywhere

More kids played too

Pushing and shoving each other after running around

They laid in the grass asking each other what they see in the clouds

One said a cat

The other said, no that's a dog

Others said other animals

The day went by fast

Night quickly came

A man appeared and asked the kids who still wants to play

Many knew about the dangers of strange people coming towards them

Their parents had said to never go with someone they don't know

Those kids left running to their homes

Two kids remained

The man then said do you kids want to play video games... Maybe even watch movies...

He said everything right

The kids began to walk slowly towards him

He walked further away with the kids right behind him

One kid couldn't walk further

He thought of how angry his mother would be if he wasn't home

The other kid followed he didn't want to face another day doing the same things

The man then turned back and saw that only one boy stood behind him

Not bad he thought

Could've been nothing

He quickly grabbed the kid and shoved him in his trunk

He sped off

Yes, he thought

Another one to help feed his greed

He then said, some people just don't learn

When he got to his place

He parked his car and went to search for the guys with the diesel trucks

As soon as he found them he brought them over to his car

He unlocked the car and opened the trunk

The little boy was terrified

What could he do

There was no way to escape

He tried screaming for help but no one came

The three guys laughed then one said, there's no use boy nobody here is interested in anyone's screams

That was true

The boy tried to scratch and bite but nothing worked

Then one of the guys knocked him out

They shoved him in the back of the truck

There were so many little kids inside already

The other truck must have been already pack because they decided it was time to ship out

Nighttime was the perfect cover

Taking odd roads was the best

No trace

No same routes

Almost untraceable

-------

How easy it is to lose someone

What of those little souls that are yet to make their own mistakes

They will never be the same...

Even if they aren't yours if it was you wouldn't you want someone to rescue you...
