| Chapter 9 |

"I'm sorry Tae.."

As these words left Jungkook's mouth, he felt a strange nervousness and anxiousness in his veins. All this while, both of them had been talking on everything than the actual topic for which they were here.

Although Jungkook wasn't complaining, and neither did Tae.. as the time spend had only brought happy smiles on their faces.

But when the moment came for the older to speak about the actual point, he couldn't help but be afraid of his words and doings like the way he just did this morning. 

He knew that the topic was sensitive for him, for which he couldn't bring a control on his actions.. but speaking about his mistakes and apologizing to the younger was his responsibility. Otherwise, the guilt inside his veins would just deepen.

Without dwelling further on his  thoughts about the younger's reaction, he just decided to go with the flow... preparing for anything and everything, although not really preparing for the younger's saddened face.

Straightening his back, and clearing his throat which somewhat gave a little boost to his drowning confidence.. he decided to speak his heart and mind out.

And looked at the younger male in front, straight at his eyes which had been worriedly staring at the older for the whole time.. trying to contemplate his thoughts and anticipating for the older to not hang him in the middle with a sudden sorry.

He will never deny, but he was surely shocked at the sudden sorry coming from the older cause he couldn't actually remember the reason behind the sorry and that only added to his peeking anxiety.

Seeing the tensed profile of the younger, the older broke the silence with a small smile before continuing with his main motive.

"I'm sorry for my behavior this morning. I didn't mean to lash out  on you.. but I was really scared. Really."
Saying this, he leaned forward on the table and kept his trembling hands above it. Even the thought of what wrong could have happened, scared him to death and he could feel his eyes burning a bit.

Seeing the older this vulnerable, Tae could feel his heart ache for some reason and a sudden crave of comforting the older, till he gets better popped inside his heart. So, he moved forward and held the older's big trembling hands in his small soft hands, gently squeezing it a bit to let him know that he's here, it's okay..

"I went to see my mom and dad this morning and I didn't inform grandma about it. Oh how I regret not taking her with me then all these trouble wouldn't have happened"

A lonely drop of tear fell from the older's eyes, but he was quick to wipe it away.

"It had been long since I met them, I missed them and I guess they did too. Maybe that's why I was feeling off since yesterday night.. I just couldn't bring my mind to concentrate on anything. The only thing I wanted to do was  meet my parents.. that would have calmed the anger in my nerves."

"So after dropping off grandma to your cafe, I went there. I was not in my best mood when Namjoon informed me about the accident. That only worsened my mood. And after reaching here, I couldn't control myself and did the worst thing. I couldn't even understand my actions at that moment, not until you left from there when all these hit me like a truck."

And few more drops of tears fell from the older's eyes, but before he could wipe it himself.. a soft hand reached his cheeks and wiped it away. He looked above to acknowledge the person who was now standing beside the older, tears on his soft cheeks with lips trembling.. while he reached forward to help the older.

Seeing the younger in this fragile state himself, with pout on his thin pinkish lips.. Jungkook couldn't help but let out a chuckle before standing up from his seat and taking the younger in his embrace.
