When Jungkook woke up he didn't find Dahyun in the bed and she had left the blanket upon him. He heard puking noises coming from the bathroom.

"Dahyun" he called out her name.

"I'm fine this is normal stuff" she shouts from inside.

"Okay okay" Jungkook says getting up from the bed and stretching his body.

He looks at Dahyun's luggage scattered around and sighs in annoyance before going out to get coffee.

When he goes outside he understands why the place is so hyped regardless of its flaws. He drinks his coffee peacefully sitting on a bench among the trees facing the hills.

He sees an old lady working in the kitchen and goes there.

"Ahjumma I wanted to ask something"

"Sure" the lady sweetly replies.

"Do you know something to give someone to eat who has nausea? You know morning sickness." He asked.

"Do you have a pregnant woman with you?" She asks being the typical nosy kind of old person.

"Yes it's my wife. Is there something she can have?"

"She should have ginger tea" she tells him before moving to make it for him.

Jungkook comes back to his room and watches Dahyun lying on the bed looking exhausted.

"I couldn't sleep since 3. I kept feeling nauseous and then puked like 4 times. I just wanna get done with this." She cries when Jungkook keeps the tray on the bedside table.

"Have some ginger tea. The ahjumma outside advised to have this to help you soothe the nausea." He says standing in front of her.

"How can I belive some stranger let me search it up" Dahyun says when Jungkook interrupts.

"Internet can be misleading. That woman has probably had many babies and grandbabies. She knows better than us. When we go back my mom will help you through all of this. You don't have to worry okay?"

Dahyun nods sipping on the tea.

"You can rest here I'll just be around here. Give me a call if you need anything."

Dahyun falls asleep tired when Jungkook goes inside the bathroom. After washing his face he looks at his phone. You hadn't messages him after his wedding. He didn't wanted to get a message from you.

He opened your dad now his father in law's message and saw your and Jaesung's engagement party invitation.
Looking at your and his photos makes Jungkook angry and sad at the same time.

He ends up scrolling to his gallery and deletes the pictures and videos he clicked of you that night. You still had a copy of them in print hidden and digital and backed up. He ran out of the room unable to control his emotions. Sitting under a tree, he sobbed thinking about how his life was messed up and he could never get love. All the mistakes he made and the regrets he had, they all came back to him. He needed to let out everything to be able to move on.

A couple of months pass away after Jungkook and Dahyun go back to their newly bought house. Mrs Eun goes over when her daughter's feeling tired. Dahyun arranges the house gradually with her and Jungkook's separate rooms but telling family that it's a guest room. She starts setting up the nursery when it is revealed that she's expecting a baby girl.

Jungkook shows a bit of happiness at having a daughter. Most of the time he stays until late night working his ass off at his office. He and Dahyun intentionally try to stay out of each others lives for most part but they end up eating meals together sometimes. Dahyun leaves Jungkook be and focuses on herself instead. She already knew it would be like this even if it was Jungkook's baby they might have been distant most of the time. She was grateful he accepted her with the baby and didn't use it against her.

She had asked him once "why did you show me this kindness Jungkook? You accepted my baby without any questions. I was prepared for the worst to be honest.

"Look I think about all of this differently. Whenever I have fallen in love somehow it has ended up going away from me. What I want more than that is a family. I only have hopes of a peaceful family. And its nice between us the way we live without troubling each other. And about the baby. I don't think we would have made a baby the natural way. People adopt children not knowing anything about their parents, they love them regardless. I don't have to have a biologically connected to the child to be loving her. I will love her regardless. She won't know what we don't tell her. It's more important who raises a person than who created them. I will love her if she wants she can too." He left Dahyun speechless with his thoughts. She hadn't thought about his reasoning to be like this. He was the kindest soul she'd ever known.

"Will you be there after the birth? Of course it would be unreasonable for you to be present there when it's happening. After it... I want you to be the first one to hold my baby after me."

"Our... I have whole heartedly accepted this baby as my own. I won't let anyone take away my child from me... ever..."

"Thank you so much Jungkook. Thank you..." Dahyun had told him wanting to kiss him for it but she knew he didn't exactly feel that way.

It's five months after Jungkook and Dahyun's wedding. She's seven months pregnant now and suddenly got the urge to invite you and Jaesung over for dinner. There were still four months left until your wedding day, you insisted on waiting so that you and Jaesung could get to spend some time dating and everyone could focus on Dahyun and the baby.

"Jaesung... we need to give a break to ourselves or I might end up getting torn apart. If you still want to marry me calm down your dick." You tell him annoyed by his enthusiasm and intensity in bed.

"You're so beautiful... what can I do... I don't want anyone else now. I don't even want to think about anyone else" You sigh at his words. The burn between your thighs is real. You do get satisfied but then it gets tiring.

"Why did your sister suddenly get the idea to invite us for dinner? She has never shown interest in talking with me before" you end up thinking about the stark contrast between your and Jungkook's relationship as brother in law and sister in law and the one between Dahyun and Jaesung.

"Must be some hormones or something"

"I hope its just dinner and nothing else"

"It's just dinner Jae... we just have to eat and leave. Don't feel obliged to talk unnecessarily, they're quiet people anyways"
