Ghosts:

"Tesoro, you ready?" Matias waved his hand in front of my face making me focus on him. "We're here."

"Huh?" I looked around and saw everyone getting up from their seats in Matias' plane. Damn, I zoned out for a while. I looked over to see JJ strapping my two bags on to his back and front. "I guess I zoned out."

"Yeah, you okay?" Matias asked.

"Yeah," I smiled at him, "I'm fine. I'm just nervous to see someone."

He smiled, "Rafe?"

I hummed in response as I got up and made my way outside. "JJ wait."

He turned to me with a concerned look, "What's wrong?"

"I, um, I'm going to go see Rafe with Tianna. So I'll meet y'all at the chateau later, okay?"

"Oh." He looked over at Tianna who was waiting for me, "Yeah that's fine, Princess."

I kissed his lips, "I love you, I'll see you soon!" He smiled at me as I linked arms with Tianna and headed in the opposite direction as them.

"Are you nervous?" I asked Tianna as we walked through Figure Eight. I could see how conflicted she looked as we got closer to Tannyhill.

"Yeah, but what if he moved on? You said he was with that girl for a few weeks, right?" She looked at me with fear in her eyes. "He might not want to see me, you know?"

"Oh he wants to see you again, Tianna. I have no doubts about that. And I don't know if he's still seeing Sophia, but it's okay, it'll all work out." She nodded and clung to my arm as we walked up the driveway. I led us through the house and up to his room, I peaked through the gap in the door and saw him laying across his bed scrolling through his phone.

I pushed the door open, while Tianna hung back out of view, "Rafey."

Rafe's eyes went wide as he stared at me in the doorway, "Kaily?"

"Hi." I smiled and ran over and jumped on him, ignoring the searing pain through out my body.

"You're alive..." He sat up with me on his lap and gently hugged me, "I miss you. This has to be a dream." He kissed my forehead and pulled back to stare at me. 

"Nope, I'm real. But um what I'm about to show you will definitely make you think you're dreaming." I got up from his lap and walked over to the door. Tianna timidly grabbed my hand and let me pull her into the room.

Rafe inhaled sharply, "There's no fucking way this is real." He looked between the two of us, he looked scared to move as if the dream would end if he did.

"It's real, Rafe. I was in the Bahamas." Tianna quietly admitted as she crossed the space between them.

He gently pulled her closer and looked up into her eyes, "I'm sorry, Tianna. I promised I'd never hurt you."

"I'm not mad. I was just scared of Ward so I stayed away." She cupped his cheeks and bent down to kiss him. I smiled ear to ear as I watched their sweet reunion.

"Y'all are so cute. This makes me happy." I rocked back on my heels and few times out of excitement.

Tianna pulled away, "I'm sorry, I shouldn't have kissed you before asking if you're with someone." Rafe looked over at me with a look, I grimaced and looked away. Yeah yeah I told her a small amount about Sophia, don't hate me.

"No, I'm not with someone. I was a few weeks ago but that ended. After Kaila died I shut everyone out." He told her.

"So you want me around again?" Tianna asked him.

He laughed, "You don't even have to ask, Tianna, of course I want you here. You're my girlfriend, right?"

"Yes." She giggled and kissed him again. "I love you, Rafe Cameron."

His smile reached his eyes as he looked up at her, "I love you, Tianna Clarke." They connected their lips again, letting themselves get lost in the moment.

"Should I leave or..." I trailed off when they broke apart and laughed at me. Rafe threw a pillow at me and told me to shut up. "I was just checking, didn't want y'all to forget I'm here and start fucking."

"I would not do that to you, Kaila." Tianna gave me a look.

"Rafe, there's something I need to tell you." I sighed and sat down next to him. Fuck this is going to suck.

"What is it?" He sat Tianna on his leg and turned them both to face me.

I told him all about waking up and going on the adventure to save my dad, "But um, something happened while we were on the cliff talking to that Ryan guy. So.. um.. I started to have a seizure while Ryan was holding me at gun point and we almost fell off the cliff and Ward saved me, but he.. he fell with Ryan. He's gone, Rafe."

He stared at me, "No.. he can't be."

"I'm sorry Rafe, it was my fault. Everything Ryan was saying stressed me out, if I hadn't of had the seizure then Ward wouldn't have had to grab me." I cried.

His eyes teared up, "He's dead? You're sure?"

I nodded, "He's dead."

He pulled me into him and Tianna, wrapping his arms around us both as we all cried together. "It's not your fault, Kaily. I don't blame you."

I pulled away, "My dad died too. They're both gone. Singh shot my dad over the stupid gold. But Rafey... we found El Dorado. It was real."

His eyes went wide, "Kaily."

"I lost both my dads over a city of gold hidden in a cave." I cried. "And I had so much to say to them both."

"They knew you loved them, Kaila." Tianna rubbed my arm as I buried my head in my hands.

"I can't believe he's gone." Rafe whispered. "We'll get through this, Kaily. Like we always do."

I looked up at him and Tianna, "I'm clean Rafey, thanks to my month long coma. You can't let me slip again, I want to stay clean, no matter how shitty I feel, I can't let myself go back to how I was."

"We'll always be here for you, if you feel like you're going to relapse then you tell us, okay? We won't let you slip." Tianna promised me.

Rafe nodded, "We've got you, Kaily. I know you can stay clean. I will too."

I sighed and stood up, "I'm going to head to the chateau, you two need some alone time to catch up."

Rafe laughed and looked at Tianna with a knowing look, "We definitely do." She smiled and kissed him before standing up to hug me.

"I'm so happy we're both alive." She pulled away and smiled at me.

"Me too, Tia."

"I am too." Rafe stood up and pulled me in for another hug, "You have no idea how much I missed you, Kaily."

I pulled away and looked up at him, "I know, Rafey. Now go enjoy having your girl back. I'll see y'all later."

My heart was full as I walked through the island towards the cut. The fact that Tianna is alive and back with Rafe, and that I'm back home with JJ, and Matias and I are friends again, all of this had me smiling from ear to ear.

I'm ready to live happily ever after with my family and friends by my side.
