                                                                                Clark's POV

I was sitting in the dining room looking over the map. Trying to find any way out that wouldn't kill everyone in Mount Weather. I had looked over the map so many times I had lost count. I finally gave up and crumpled up the map and tossed it in the bin. I scanned the room not knowing what I was looking for. What I didn't expect to see was the soldier that I saw just a few hours ago covered in radiation burns. He should be dead, but instead he was up on his two feet and making jokes with another man. The burns were almost gone from his body entirely as if they were never there.

That should be impossible. What the hell was going on?

I followed him out of the room and hid behind the corner as he used his key card to unlock a door. Once he was inside I walked over and read the sign outside the door. It was medical, I had to find a way in there. I walked back to the bunk room as I went over different ways for me to break into medical and I could only think of one thing.

"Only patients are allowed in medical." I said as I reached the bunk room.

I looked around for a way to rip open my stitches. They didn't let us have anything sharp. They were probably worried we would use it as a weapon to fight back. But there were sharp edges on the bed. I waited until everyone had left the room and I removed the bandage from my arm. I lined up my stitches with the sharp edge of the bed and used as much force as I could to rip open the stitches. I yelled out as blood started pouring out of the reopened gash. I put pressure on the wound to slow the bleeding as much as I could while I tried to catch my breath. I walked out into the hall and a guard saw me only a few seconds later.

He ran up and quickly called for the doctor and led me away to medical.
