                                                                                    Octavia's POV

Lincoln had been carrying me through the woods for a long time. How long I was not even sure, I could barely keep my eyes open. Everything was just a big blur of green. I could not focus on anything except the swirls of green that surrounded me. That was until Lincoln finally put me down. He placed me down, sitting up as he leaned me against something.

Lincoln bent down in front of me, moving the hair out of my face.

"Now sleep. I'll be back with the antidote as soon as I can." He told me.

When he moved to adjust his bag, I saw the giant statue of the man Lincoln was named after. The one from his sketchbook. The one he told me was from his town.

"You brought me to your village," I said to him.

"I won't let you die." He told me.

"Lincoln..." I said as I tried to get up but was not able to support my weight.

"Lincoln, they'll kill you," I told him as I was worried he would get himself killed trying to save me.

"Hey, hey." He said as he held me back into place.

"Hey. Only if they catch me." He told me. "Stay alive. Stay quiet." He said before running off into the woods.

I really hoped this would not be the last time I saw him.
