Dahlia's POV

Thankfully Finn was smart enough to wait until night to break us free. It was dark and we used that to our advantage as much as we could as we stayed in the shadows and made our way out of the camp and into the surrounding woods.

"You don't think anyone saw us?" Bellamy asked the second we cleared the camp wall.

"Shh. Keep it down." Finn snapped at him.

"Relax Finn, no one can hear us out here." I told him.

He was more wound up then he normally is and right now I needed everyone to behave or we were never going to get our people back.

He didn't respond, he just kept running into the woods and the rest of us followed him as if he was now the leader. We turned the corner around some trees I was next to Murphy who Bellamy was holding onto with a death grip when a bright light flashed in our face.

We all froze as a guard stepped into view followed by Abby and Sebastian. I tensed up as I saw him standing there. I knew there was a possibility he was here for his daughter but I knew he was down he was here for me. He was my handler and I was his weapon. A weapon who broke free and he needed me under control or dead. I was the only one left alive that knew he was part of the resistance and considering how close he now is to Kane he's gonna want to keep that secret to himself.

"You're late." Abby said to Finn.

"Bellamy and Dahlia decided to bring company." Finn answered her as I clenched my fist and kept my gaze on Sebastian who was looking at me until Monroe ran past us and into her dads arms.

He pulled her into a tight hug and for a second he looked like a real dad. His eyes closed and he leaned into her hug as if he actually had a heart and cared about his child. Only for a few seconds then his eyes opened and he looked at me over her shoulder. He's definitely going to be a problem.

"He's the only person that's been in their camp." Bellamy explained to Abby.

The adults nodded to each other and Abby handed Finn a handgun. He took it and put it in the back of his pants. She then handed him another one and he gave it to Monroe.

"Here. Find my son." The other guard said as he handed Bellamy a ar-15. "His name is Nathan Miller." He told us.

It took me a second to remember who Nathen Miller was but he was a nice kid who was always helpful. If he was still alive we would bring him back to his father.

He then took another gun off his shoulders and handed it to the other kid who was with us.

"Bring them home." Abby told us as Sebastian stepped forward.

"You will need these." He said to me as he held out my knives and sword that had been taken from me.

I quickly grabbed my sword from him and threw it over my shoulder and onto my back. I took my knives from him and contemplated stabbing one into his neck. The only problem is if I did that Abby and the guard would turn on me and I would never make it out of this camp.

We nodded at her and Finn started back on our way. Murphy held up his hands to Bellamy for him to cut him free. Bellamy just pushed him forward.

"You don't need to be so rough." I told him as I joined Murphy at his side.

"Wait." Sebastian called, causing us all to stop and look back at him.

"I'm coming with you." He said.

"We don't need a babysitter!" I snapped at him.

"I don't doubt your capabilities. You kids have survived this long but I am not going to leave my daughter to fight a war alone." He said as he walked to her side.

She smiled up at him glad to have her dad on her side. She clearly didn't know who her dad actually was. What he has done and what he is capable of.

"We don't have time for this. If he wants to come he can come!" Finn snapped and started walking off again.

Sebastian and I stood there for a second looking at one another. Murphy looked at me strangely as if he noticed the tension between us.

"Monroe follow Finn Bellamy and I will take up the rear." I told her knowing she would listen to me and that he would stay by her side.
If he was coming with us I was going to keep my eyes on him. I would not let him follow behind me. He was not going to have the opportunity to stab me in the back again. I would never trust this man again. Not after what he did to me on the Ark.
