Ben 10 Gwen x Male Reader

(S-1/Ep-3) The Krakken

A bright moon is lighting up the foggy forest below. A large lake, surrounded by trees and mist, stays undisturbed.

Ben: Cannonball! [Jumping into the lake, making a large splash]

Ben pops up back to the surface.

Ben: [Imitating a sports commentator] "Judges score... yes! Perfect 10! Yeah! [Imitates crowd woo-ing] The crowd loves him!"

Gwen: [Watching, unimpressed from the end of a pier, with a shining torch on hand] "A perfect dweeb" is more like it.

Y/n: [Unimpressed] Exactly. Now remind me, why did me and Gwen have to come down here?

Ben: To have some fun. Come on, dive in!

Gwen: ...Please! Who knows what nasty, slimy things are slithering around in there.

Gwen shines a torch around the lake's surface to illustrate her point, landing the torch on Ben.

Gwen: I rest my case.

Ben: How 'bout you, Y/n?

Y/n: I would, but it's getting late.

Ben: What's the point in camping by a lake if you're afraid to get wet?

Ben splashes the water from the lake onto Y/n and Gwen.

Gwen: [Gasps] Knock it off midget!

Y/n: [To Gwen] You go, and I'll keep Mr. Geek out of trouble.

Gwen nods and walks off back to the Rust Bucket, and Y/n stays back to the lake with Ben who's still splashing around.

Y/n: Sometimes you really impress me, Ben.

Ben: [Confused] Why?

Y/n: Because you're always annoying Gwen, and it's not funny.

Ben: [Sarcastically] What're you supposed to be, Y/n? Her 'Knight in Shining Armor'?

Ben gags at this and Y/n looks away and starts walking back to the Rust Bucket.

Y/n: [Walking away] I'm just looking out for you guys. Afterall, we have been like family since we've known each other.

As Y/n starts walking back, Ben begins to violently splash around in the water.

Ben: Hey! [Coughing] What's -- Happen--? [Getting sucked under the surface]

Y/n: [Annoyed] I'm not falling for it, Ben. [Walking back over to shine a light on where Ben went under] ...Ben?

The water bubbles and a giant green swamp-creature lurches out of it towards Y/n, growling at him. Y/n screams in fright, falling over and dropping the torch, which rolls on the ground to shine on the creature, revealing it to be Ben's Four Arms transformation covered in seaweed.

Y/n: [Annoyed] Ben?

Four Arms(Ben): You should have seen the look on your face! [Chuckling] Ah, priceless!

Y/n: [Grabs branch; hitting Four Arms with it] I was worried about you, ya jerk! [Furiously walks back to Rust Bucket] I'm heading back. Look out for yourself!

Four Arms(Ben): [Laughing to himself as he takes the seaweed off] I can't believe he fell for it! A monster in the lake! How dumb can you be?

The water bubbles and splashes behind Ben, causing him to turn and see a gigantic silhouette of a monster rising out of the water behind him, shocking him greatly!

(For reasons I won't show the silhouette of the Krakken, but I will show it when it actually shows up for those who've not watched Ben 10 or those who have watched it but don't remember what the Krakken looks like.)
