As the two went inside the house, they placed their bags in their room.
Chase: Marshy?
Marshall: yeah?
Chase: changies pwease... 🥺
Marshall: hehe, lay down ☺️
Chase then layed down on the bed and Marshall brought out some changing supplies. He took off Chase's wet diaper, cleaned him up, and pads him up.
Chase: thanks Marshy 😊
Marshall: no problem 😉
Chase: Let's Play! :3 (runs downstairs)
Marshall: Hey, wait for me Chase! 🙂
The two then went downstairs. Chase was the first one to get down, then followed Marshall.
Chase: I got here first! x3
Marshall: heh, such a fast puppy 😌
The doorbell then rang
Chase: who's that? 🙃
Marshall: I don't know. Maybe a stranger?
Chase: dada said not to open the door if there are strangers 🥺
Marshall: yeah. You're right
The two then ignored the animal at the door, when they heard a familiar voice.
???: Chase! Marshall! It's me! Just paying a visit
Chase: Is that?
Marshall: yup ☺️
Marshall then opened the door to see Linon
Linon: Hey guys!
Chase: Linon! x3
Chase then rushed to Linon and huged him
Linon: Hey there Chase, and (sees the diaper), I knew it 😌
Marshall: heh, he's allowed to wear it here.
Linon: I see.
Marshall: why don't you come inside?
Linon: Oh, ok but, won't your dad be mad to see a "stranger" inside the house?
Marshall: don't worry, I told him that you're Chase's friend
Linon: um, ok
Chase: C'mon Linon! 😖 (Drags Linon inside)
Linon: ok ok calm down 😅
Linon and Marshall then took a seat on the sofa, and Chase sat on the floor.
Marshall: So, I see Chase is not that scared anymore
Linon: yup. For a pup like him, he does get brave sometimes
Chase: me Ish a bwave puppy! 😖😄
Marshall: heh, yup. Yes you are, Chase (pats Chase on the head)
Chase: Bleps
The three then hang out for a while, until the sound of Nick's car arrived. Nick, along with the remaining pups, got off and went inside the house. As soon as Nick went inside, he immediately saw a dragon on the couch.
Nick: Marshall? Who's this? 🤨
Marshall: This is Linon, the one I told you about last night
Linon: Hello 😅
Nick: So, you're Chase's new friend huh 🙂
Linon: Yup
Marshall: They're also in the same class 🙂
Nick: Marshall, could you leave us with Chase, in private?
Marshall: oh, ok. C'mon guys
Marshall then went upstairs, along with the other pups, leaving Nick, Linon, and Chase who was playing with his toy.
Nick: I guess you know Chase's secret huh
Linon: yeah, since day one, those bullies exposed him
Nick: I don't blame you, but, how was he? 😔
Linon: not gonna lie, some animals bullied him but he wasn't getting embarrassed or scared at all. This one time, that wolf teased him, but all Chase did was laugh, chuckle, and said some "comeback" lines and his face was like "🙂😌☺️😉😊"
Nick: I see...
Linon: I'm getting worried about him, too
Nick: me too... That's why I've been thinking about letting Chase change schools
Linon: wh-why? He doesn't even looked scared or embarrassed at all
Nick: haven't you realized? Everyone in school knows he's being a little puppy. You think his teachers would be ok with that? 😔
Linon: well...
Nick: Linon, this was supposed to be kept as a secret, not to expose it to others. I'm really aware that you're okay with Chase being his little puppy self but, how about the others?
Linon: ...
Linon ran out of words to say
Nick: alright, thanks for the info though 😔
Chase: dada! Wook! Block tower! 😁
Nick: that looks really nice 😌
Linon: well, if you plan on letting Chase change schools, I'm fine with that, if it means protecting Chase
Nick: I'll let him spend the whole week in school, and if one bad thing happens, I have no choice but to let him change schools 😔
Linon: Ok 😔 If he's gonna change schools, I'm sure gonna miss him...
Nick: don't worry. You can still visit Chase
Little did they know Chase overheard their conversation, right from the start and started to sob a little
Nick: Chase? Everything ok?
Chase: Did Mawshy told you?!? 😭
Nick: well...
Chase: Ish though Mawshy ish my best buddy!... (Sobs louder)
Nick: Chase... I know you don't want me to know but (takes Chases paw gently) I'm your dad... You cant keep secrets from me, because whatever it is, I'm listening 😟
Chase: ch-chu ish nyot mad?
Nick: well, a little, but just concerned about you
Chase: (sobs) is it true that chu wiww make me change schools?
Nick: it's up to you... How were you even feeling at school lately?
Chase: at first, I got scared and embawwassd 😟 but I just stand up for myself for who me ish, and me nyot scawed ow embawwased anymore 😁
Nick and Linon then faced eachother
Nick: (sighs, smiles) my little puppy 😊 such a brave one. You made me change my mind, you'll stay in your school
Chase: yaayyy! ^w^
Linon: (smiles, but then gets curious on how chase wanted to be a little puppy) Hey, um...
Nick: call me Nick
Linon: Nick, how did Chase even became like this in the first place?
Nick: well...
Nick then told the entire story
His mother passed away when he was just a year old. He hasn't spent enough time with her, neither do I, be wise I was always busy back then. At a very young age, I had no choice but to let him work just to keep up the rent, though luckily we saved up enough money to buy a house, which is this house, and since I have my money on my bank accounts, and I invested some money, I decided to stop working for a while and spend time with Chase more often. It went well though, but at school, he would meet some strict teachers, which he really doesn't like it. I tried comforting Chase, but I was still not used to it and I would just hug him, no words to say.
Just to say it in summary, he had a traumatic past...
Linon: Oh... I'm so sorry for that...
Nick: And now at some point in his life, he started acting like a little puppy before eventually wanting to "be one"
Linon: I feel so bad for him... But atleast he's happy now
Nick: yup
TIME CHECK: 6 PM
Linon: I better get going now. Bye, Bye Chase
Chase: Bye Linon! See you tomowwow! :3
Linon then left the house and went back home.
Nick: you know what Chase. I'm happy for you (picks Chase up in his arms)
Chase: Weawwy? Why? :3 🙃
Nick: You made a friend of course ☺️ and I'm just glad you're a happy little pup (Boops Chase)
Chase: (squeels, tummy rumbles)
Nick: I think someone's hungry
Chase: miwkies! x3 hehe
Nick: (chuckles) hold on 😊
Nick then went to the Kitchen to prepare the bottle of milk for Chase. He then went back with a bottle in his hand and gave it to Chase. Chase then started drinking up. Nick then put down chase on the floor and went to the kitchen to prepare dinner for the other pups
Marshall: Dad? Can we go down now? 🙃
Nick: Oh, yeah 😅
Marshall and the others then went downstairs, and Marshall went to Chase.
Marshall: so... What were Nick and Linon talking about earlier?
Chase: I don't remember 🙃 all I remember is me playing 🙃😁
Marshall: heh, silly pup 😏.
