It was utter chaos. A massive car accident had occurred and most of the patients had been transferred to Beacon Hills Hospital, but the hospital was a bit understaffed, but they were making it work with Melissa McCall leading the charge.

"Okay, keep pressure on it. The doctor's on her way." Melissa told an injured patient. "And does anyone know where Dr. Hilyard is?!" She cried out. Scott and Y/N walked in, with Scott holding a bag with a take-out box in it for their mom. Melissa saw this and smiled. "Oh, thank God. I'm starving." She took the food from Scott and placed it at her desk in the front office before realizing what she missed.  "Oh, I'm sorry. I'm sorry." She turned back to her two sons and put a hand on each of their shoulders. "Thank you for bringing me dinner."

Scott and Y/N took a look at their surroundings and saw the chaos. "Is everything okay?" Scott asked.

"Except for half the accident victims in a ten-car pile-up being rerouted here from downtown, and the E.R. attending not answering any of his pages, yeah, I'm okay." Melissa said.

"What does not answering pages mean?" Scott asked.

"Not responding to any form of contact. Which means that no one can find him." Y/N answered. Melissa nodded, surprised with her son's answer.

"That's correct. How did you know that?" Melissa wondered.

"I watched a few doctor movies." Y/N replied.

"Well, not answering pages also means we have to wait for the on call to get here." Melissa added.

"Excuse me, Miss?" an injured woman called out to Melissa. The McCall's turned look at the woman, who was clutching her right side. "Excuse me, can I kind of please have something for the pain?" Melissa took patient by the shoulders and guided her to sit back down in a chair.

"Okay, I'm sorry. I know. But, actually, giving you something could complicate things, so we really just need to wait for the doctors. Okay?" Melissa explained. The woman nodded. Melissa gave the woman a smile before turning to the receptionist. "How much longer on Dr. Hilyard?"

"Ten minutes." The Receptionist answered. Scott looked back at the woman with sympathy before raising his hand and looking at it. He nodded to himself and slowly sat down next to the injured woman.

"Uh, you know, I think that I read online that sometimes human contact can help with pain." Scott offered. The woman nodded weakly, as Scott looked around to make sure no one other than Y/N or his mother could see him before placed his hand on the woman's. Black veins crept up from the woman's hand and up his forearm as he took the womans pain, allowing her to breath a bit of air without dealing with her injury. Y/N saw this and smiled at his brothers action, before his attention was called away from him.

"Someone... Someone help me!" someone cried out. Y/N turned and saw it was Ethan, who had Danny with his arm slung over his shoulder. And Danny was in pain. Y/N's eyes flashed yellow for a split second, seeing the Alpha. "Oh, I need help!" Ethan called. Melissa, Y/N and Scott all helped guide Danny over to an empty seat and set him down, and with Melissa doing a check up on Danny, that gave Scott and Y/N the chance to talk to Ethan.

"What did you do to him?" Scott demanded.

"Nothing. He said he was having chest pains and trouble breathing, but it... it just kept getting worse." Ethan answered.

"This is not good. How much longer on Dr. Hilyard?" Melissa called out to the receptionist but received a shrug. "His larynx has shifted to the side. I think it's a tension pneumothorax." But the matters got worse, as Danny suddenly threw up a white substance, but it was filled with white beads and green leaves. Y/N's eyes went wide.
