~rant:  I discontinued watching Tere Bin a while back as it had become a source of trauma for me. Meerab has been so stubborn! I couldn't help but make an attempt to redeem every character whom I once held dear in this show.

Anyway, this update needs to be appreciated. Vote and comment!!

"Kuch nai hua indigestion hoga bas," Meerab told her parents who were about to take her to a doctor. She tried to hide her worry, but deep down, she was feeling anxious. "Acha thikey, main dawai deta hun," Waqas offered, trying to be supportive. Meerab quickly agreed, wanting to dismiss her parents and retreat to her room. "Baad main le lungi, neend aa rahi hain," she ran upstairs to her room hurriedly, her mind filled with apprehension.

As soon as she shut the door, she lifted her kurta and rubbed her belly, feeling a mix of confusion and fear. Am I pregnant? The thought raced through her mind, causing a surge of emotions. She couldn't help but wonder how Murtasim would react. They had never discussed this possibility before, and uncertainty consumed her.
She felt the urge to call Murtasim and share the news with him, but hesitation held her back. She opened WhatsApp, attempting to text him, but her fingers hovered over the keyboard, unable to express her thoughts.
Meerab bit her lips, feeling the need to confide in her father but she couldn't. Her relation with her parents relationship had improved over time, and she trusted that they wouldn't abandon her this time.
"Baba," she yelled from the stairs.  Waqas felt a surge of joy upon hearing her address him as "baba." "Haa Meerab?" he answered, watching TV but ready to listen.

"Aap Murtasim ko call karengey kya?" she asked, her voice tinged with both anticipation and nervousness. Waqas was taken aback by the request, confused yet smiling at the same time.

"Tumhe wapas jaana hai beta?" he questioned, seeking confirmation.

"Nahi baba, usse yahan bulaye aap," she told, "Mujhe baat karni hai usse," she added.

"Thikey beta," he smiled. "Kal call karunga," he assured her.

"Abhi kijiye na.. kal subah aajayega woh," she pleaded impatiently.

"Itni raat ko? Acha nahi lagta," Waqas expressed his concern.

She pondered for a moment, realizing the validity of his point. "Acha thikey," she reluctantly agreed, realizing that waiting till morning might be better, and went to her room to sleep, her mind filled with anticipation for the next day.

The next morning, Waqas called Murtasim and urged him to come over, hoping he would understand. However, Murtasim, remembering his own words, refused, determined not to go behind Meerab this time. "Waqas chacha, mujhe gaao main kaam hain," he explained, his tone firm but conflicted.

"Murtasim, ek baar milne aajao. Itne hafte hogaye hain. Meerab tumhe-" Waqas attempted to persuade him.

"Woh khud gayi thi, khud aajaye," Murtasim's reply held a calm resolve.

"Hame toh milne aa sakte ho na?" Waqas made a final effort to reason with him, hoping for a change of heart. Murtasim remained silent, lost in contemplation. "Murtasim, itna ego-" Waqas continued.

"Chacha saab, ye batein aap Meerab ko samjhaiye. Aur waise bhi mujhe bahut kaam hain, main nahi aa paunga, Khuda Haafiz," Murtasim decisively cut the call, leaving Waqas saddened by the outcome.

"Kya bola usne?" Meerab asked excited, Waqas didn't answer.

"Kuch toh boliye baba,"

"Mana kiya usne," he said patting her head.

"Mana kar diya?" Meerab's voice broke and she cried.

"Main lekar aajau usse?" Anwar, who had been standing nearby, asked Murtasim, willing to step in.
