A heart that has shattered, once whole and alive,
Now lies in fragments, torn and deprived.
It gave itself freely, with hope and desire,
To find love's embrace, to ignite passion's fire. But you, oh, callous soul, handled it with disdain,
Carelessly discarding it, causing so much pain.
You took your share, without a thought or care,
Leaving scars upon the heart, beyond repair.Yet, he remains, resilient and strong,
Collecting the pieces that once did belong.
With tender hands, he gathers them near,
Piecing together what's left, despite the fear. For love knows no bounds, it perseveres,
Even when faced with sorrow and tears.
His spirit unyielding, his resolve unbowed,
He seeks to heal what you have disavowed.Through the cracks and crevices, love will find a way,
To mend what is broken, to bring back the day.
For a heart that has shattered can still learn to beat,
To love again, to rise from defeat. So, take heed of this tale, let it be your guide,
Handle love with kindness, with love, let it abide.
For a heart that's been shattered can mend and grow,
And find a love that's true, a love that will glow.
