In the depths of my being, where shadows reside,
A weary soul, once vibrant, now cast aside.
Touched by sorrow, shattered and tattered,
Aching for solace, my spirit was battered.

But amidst the darkness, a glimmer did appear,
A flicker of hope, dispelling all fear.
It was you, dear one, an ethereal gleam,
A beacon of light in my darkest dream.

In slumber's embrace, you entered my realm,
With tender whispers, you overwhelmed.
Your presence, a balm to wounds deep within,
Unveiling the beauty concealed by life's din.

Oh, how I yearned to share this truth unspoken,
To let you know, your essence had awoken
A dormant flame, long forgotten and concealed,
Igniting my heart, now ready to be healed.

In dreams, we danced, twirling through time,
Unfolding a tale, both tender and sublime.
You held my hand, as we traversed the night,
Guiding me towards a dawn shining bright.

But alas, dear one, dreams are fleeting at best,
The morning light banished, leaving unrest.
I awaken now, with a longing so profound,
To tell you, my love, how in you, solace I found.

Yet here I stand, with words left unspoken,
In the realm of dreams, our bond unbroken.
Know this, my dear, though we may be apart,
You were the last dream, imprinted on my heart.

Through shattered fragments, I carry your trace,
A cherished memory, time cannot erase.
In my battered soul, you left an indelible mark,
A testament to love's enduring spark.

So, as I navigate life's uncertain terrain,
I hold onto that dream, forever ingrained.
For you, my love, had been a dream divine,
The last whisper of hope, in this shattered soul of mine.
