In shadows deep, a child resides,
With tears concealed and silent cries,
Bound to hearts that wound and scar,
In tender years, a broken star.Behind closed doors, a painful dance,
Their innocence, held in a trance,
Their tiny heart, a fragile bloom,
Bearing burdens, far too soon.Yet, still, they love with all their might,
Their love for them, a shining light,
Though battered, bruised, and torn apart,
They hold love's flame within their heart. To love's embrace, they can't say no,
For love is all they've ever known,
They yearn for love, a sacred thread,
But find it's tangled, filled with dread. As days go by, they learn to cope,
Their love for them, a bittersweet hope,
To stop loving them, they can't conceive,
Yet, loving themselves, they can't believe.Their worth obscured, like stars at dawn,
By hands that harm from dusk till morn,
Yet, deep inside, a glimmer stays,
A distant dream of brighter days.Let's be their voice, let love extend,
A shelter where their hearts can mend,
With gentle arms and tender care,
To show them love beyond compare. For in this love, they'll someday find,
The strength to heal, to grow, to bind,
To know they're precious, strong, and brave,
Beyond the pain, their spirits crave. So, let us break the cycle's chains,
And kindle love that gently reigns,
To help these children rise above,
And learn to love themselves with love.
