You're a Merc working with an undisclosed company that works closely with the government in the process of making portals to reduce the travel of supplies to different military bases.
I walk around the perimeter of the Ion test facility in full gear always expecting trouble along the fence that was freshly adorned with razor wire until I received new orders from my CO, Irons. "Jacob, me, and the eggheads have an assignment for you. You must have every piece of equipment and ammunition," he said over the radio as I started to make my way to the laboratory, there I saw the general who looked surprised to see me as he waited at the airlock. "Edwards, what the hell are you doing here?"
I gave no heed to him, I grabbed my admin keycard and heard it unlocked, I opened it. When we entered I was greeted by Irons, Jay, and many of the scientists who were looking at me. "What's the briefing, Irons?" I questioned. After a long while, I was given special Armor plates and a grapple gun before the facility's threat detection alarms activated.

"We got hostiles at the main gate, get off- GAH!" the guard screamed over the radio as then cuts off. "This is team two, we got some kind of deformed kids with icepicks shaped like crosses, what are our orders, over?!" before Iron could speak on the radio I grabbed my radio. "Shoot on site! Those little shits aren't children, open fire, over!" after a bit, I was asked if I wanted to continue with the experiment to which I answered. "Absolutely."
The scientists type away as the rest of the soldiers set up a defense and the machines start to power up, a green hue then changes to a Nightshade purple. We hear the airlock gets blasted open, as I turned around and drew my EVO taking my aim. "C'mon... Kill your failed byproduct..." I said under my breath as a horde of deformed teens changed. We armed men in highly advanced armor tear into the horde holding our position and when I began reloading after I punted one of the little fuckers a scientist ran to me. "What are you doing here?!" I questioned. "Put this on your arm and take this! Read it when you have a chance- Look out!" he warned me as I finished putting the device on, I was met with a large woman tackling me into the portal as I and her fell in.
We clawed and punched each other until gravity met us once more as we hit the ground with a thud, she was the first to get up as the portal closed for good. "As your mother, I am going to cleanse you of all your sins and make you anew!" she said as she approached with her Swiss army knife in hand before she could finish me I got up swiftly and unsheathed my ka-bar knife and gutted her then ripping it out then plunging it into the side of her neck. "I hope you like the fiery pits of hell because you have a first-class seat to it," I said then kick her into moving machinery where she ultimately was turned into a bloody pulp. Alarms go off as an unknown language sounded through speakers. I immediately extracted from the area to be met with scenery that was never going to get used to.

Signs, shops, noodle houses, and capsule hotels lit up the area like it was like Japan but something was off like everything accommodated people who I've guessed are around Ten to Twelve feet tall which converts that to approximately 4 yards. For reference, I am only 5'11 in height whoever goes through these doorways has to be massive and quite the metabolism rate. I then remembered that I had to activate the device on my left forearm so I reached into my pocket and pulled out a crumpled-up piece of paper that gave me instructions on how to activate the device and what info I needed to know about it.

Four bars will show after it's done initializing, showing red, orange, yellow, then green. Green means that you are in perfect health and haven't sustained any major damage, red however means that you have gone critical but are still able to kick ass per se until you can find a medkit which we have stuffed plenty of in your backpack, large Med kits consist of three canisters of Medical seram that will immediately clot the blood enough to reduce bleeding with the addition of adrenaline to get you moving, the smaller the amount of canisters the less adrenaline you'll get. The last part of the message made me smile and gave me confidence then I did what the note said immediately after I turned on the device I see the four bars but abruptly I hear alarms everywhere and see armed individuals that were just the size of those doorways. Without any thought coming into mind I ran in the other direction as I heard one of them shouting and hearing what sounded like gunfire but red and white lines rush past me as I got into cover to return fire with my Silenced ACR. My bullets were ineffective as I heard my rounds ricocheting so I readied a flashbang and then threw it after I pulled its pin.
It worked surprisingly well giving me enough time to haul ass out of the area and to safety, boy I was not in Japan when I ran into a crowd of tall individuals which led to me being tripped by someone and some fell on me. When some of us recovered a lot of them screamed as if they were scared of me then more sirens blared out as I got up and grappled away.
